OMG! like looking at two different aged people - you look younger - wow! and your lady is probably really loving it too haha! My husband is the size that you were before, maybe I can show him your pic for inspiration :)

I had joined in 2013 and been in and out of MFP never really sticking to logging in everyday...and therefore restarted over and over again...until this year. I have seen those people who joined at the same time as I did make their success stories and I found the one thing in common with all their success stories was that…

Wow! absolutely amazing and reading about your wife brought tears to my eyes...she must be amazing too :)

Lol! that is how I get my steps too, I do the laundry downstairs, and then hang them. Once they are dry, I fold each item and take an item at a time to each room/cupboard. I used to yell at the kids to take their clothes, now I love climbing up and down and getting my steps goal on my fitbit :)

I am the same, I have cut out processed sugar/foods and my daughters bought me a snickers bar, because that's what I used to love to eat when we went shopping. After eating it, it left a bad after taste in my mouth...ugh!

I decided to de-clutter after reading this thread and happy with the positive feeling it gives me. My closet is much smaller, and made a personal vow that I will not add anything new, until the items I have left are ridiculously too large for me to continue wearing. Thank you for the inspiration everyone :)

I ate a snicker bar and it tasted disgusting...lol

Understanding that having a few hunger pangs every now and then is not a sign that I would starve, and that soda water is all that I need in between meals.

Doing a public speaking presentation in June to inspire/motivate women who have been out of the workplace for a while, to achieve their dreams. My goal is to walk the talk and prove it to myself first.

Craved a hot meat pie, but chose a salad and beef croissant instead and it was just what I needed:)

Most annoying is when you are nearly there at your goal, and people say you are disappearing and then when you start to gain it back they say, it's because I am happier (like huh???)...

What about the ones who non-verbally try to sabotage your healthy lifestyle - like keep asking you to eat with them at work because they feel lonely eating a whole bag of chips or packet of chocolate biscuits on their own (frequently throughout the day)...(my female boss who is overweight and tells me that life is too…

Exactly!!! mine is my mum...

Wow! keep up the great work...I am showing my husband so that he can be inspired...he is about same as your measurements

I hear you, some of my own family are the worst at times...I used to take it personally but its ironic how they are also the first to tell me how bad I look being overweight lol...I don't care anymore and carry on loving myself :)

Totally, the one person who should be my greatest supporter, my mother who has always struggled with weight herself used to tell me how fat and ugly I looked when I was bigger than her and now that I am smaller than her and starting to wear clothes that fit me better keeps telling me how I should dress my age (I'm 45,…

Totally agree...I have to reach my 10k steps a day regardless of how busy or tired I am...even if it means folding and taking each laundry item one by one to get there :)

To be honest

Thanks I need this reminder :) keep it up!

Doing weights will help too

I am crying and thank you for sharing...I too have jumped on and off the wagon...but you are so right when you say that reading the success of others helps me to stay on longer and pull through the tough times. Sincere and inspiring :)
