I just know what has worked for ME! Keep in mind, I am not a professional, nor can I guarantee that what worked for me will work for you. On the days I know I am going to work out hard-core, I eat a bigger breakfast. I also have a couple higher calorie- good fat snacks (ie avocado or almonds) Those two snacks help with the…

What about adding a few calories? I know that when I did that and changed up my fitness (from straight cardio to a mix of cardio and strength) and it busted my plateu. =) Good luck!

I think you should ask your dr. He or she knows what you already take and how both might affect those.
-
I would say if your diet is okay you are just fine with the rate of loss. I think the biggest thing to remember is that this rate might not keep up. Try not to be discouraged if it slows. =)

I can't eat before working out, I get up at 5am and it isn't happening! lol. But I do eat after =)
-
That is amazing!! Wow.

What about water? How much do you drink. I have found I loose less when I don't drink as much... That is just me though. And although you are using a HR monitor, maybe just start by doing 100 less calories per day, see if that helps...
-
Feels totally amazing doesn't it? I did my first 10k end of March and my second 5k Saturday =)
-
If you use it for things like swimming, I would send it to the company to have it done. Inconvenient, sure, but it ensures I won't have to buy a new one because water got in mine...

I'm going to have to agree. That kind of pain isn't "normal" and you really need to have it checked to insure it isn't something severe that won't "go away"

Why not try each of them for a week (one each morning) and see which one makes you feel best? I have been doing videos and they work for me, a mix of cardio and strength training, but I also love me a good run in the morning. I am just ready for the sun to come back up early so I can do so safely! lol

Hate to break this to you, but no "diet pill" is natural.
-
I love my air-popper! I eat popcorn probably 4x a week for my night time snack. I find if I have one around 7:30 then I don't need as much for breakfast. =)

If you are really looking for help, maybe you should call your dr and ask him/her. I am sure you will get the same answer. I am going to be honest because I have tried diet pills. Four kinds in the last year. Seriously none of them worked. At all. In fact, I was gaining weight. I would recommend, like a person above, that…

DO!! There are a ton of links at the top about why, but basically you need to aim for a minimum of 1200 NET calories. For example if you eat 1200 calories then you workout and burn 600 you need to try and eat back those 600 to get that net of 1200. Another thing, if you don't have a heart rate monitor or something accurate…

This would really depend on the person. If you are 120lbs you are going to burn a lot differently than if you were 300. The best bet (and you are probably tired of hearing this if you have been on the site long) is to invest in a good heart rate monitor with a chest strap. They are worth their weight in GOLD! Seriously…

I don't do turbofire, but I am on another beachbody program and I HONESTLY believe that eating right is enough. You don't need to buy "their" food. You can make healthy meals at home. Look around the eating forum there are lots of recipes and stuff. Keep your protein up, keep your intake balanced, lots of water. =) It is…

It is odd that it went straight back, but your heart rate very well could be going up that high from squats to runs. Good cardio there.

I have been running about weekly, just started the body gospel program and wonder if I may be kicking wrong. Is that even possible?

I was REALLY hesitant to shell out the money for it, but I did and now STRONGLY recommend the Polar brand. They have a model at target for just over 100 where I am. You see time and time again posts asking for opinions on them and Polar is always listed! Seriously for a reason. They are awesome! My friend has had one for…

Great job! Maybe try adding some almonds to your diet. Higher calorie, great for you. =)
-
Just curious why you don't count it if you add an additive. I guess I am one of those who counts it as "water" if it has no calories and no caffeine. As for the motivation, every person is different, so I can't say exactly what will work for you, but what about measurements? I know when I'm not losing, sometimes it is…

I have the polar FT4 with the chest strap as well. Its worth it.
-
I don't know that MFP counts lifting in "calories burned" I think if I were you, I would do like 1/2 lb loss, that way you still have "wiggle room"
-
I use my regular bra and a sports bra on top. For the most part, it works for me. I do jogging quite a bit. =)

I also find that working out in the morning really helps me. Not only am I full of energy, but I know how many calories I have for all day, vs working out in the evening and struggling to get all the calories. PS I have done both the am and pm workouts and as much as I HATE getting up, it really is worth the effort. The…

First off, do you use a HR monitor. I have noticed that is many people's problem, they overestimate the calories they are burning, and eat them back then that causes them to be over eating.... just a thought But to answer your question I try most days to eat a net calorie intake of 1200. I have been losing fairly…

I second (or third!) the almonds. I buy a big bag and mini snack bags and split it up as soon as I get them home. I also do peanut butter on whole wheat toast. I like the idea of whole wheat tortilla with avocado and chicken. Great way to get protein and good fat. =) Good luck!

One thing that is awesome about this site is it writes on your "wall" when you have been gone for example "Betsy hasn't logged on for 3 days" this gives a WONDERFUL opportunity for your friends to check up on you. =) Good luck!
