  • Look up Prone jack knife on the web. It is killer and you know it's working!!!
  • If your TDEE is factored correctly, you should be fine eating the same amount everyday!
  • Worse one I've had food wise in a while. It was a great wkend, but we had a graduation party Friday night at a Japanese Steakhouse and even though I shared a meal with my Son, I felt bad about it. Then Sat. it was fast food all day, smaller amounts than I would have eaten in the past, but still. The worse thing is Sunday,…
  • Check out the group on here Eat More To Weigh Less. It will show you why you need to fuel your body for those workouts!
  • I'm 54 yrs. old and at 5'2, I weigh in at 150. I upped my calories 2 weeks ago to 1765 which is my TDEE - 15%. I lift weights 4 days a week and eat 1765 on my rest days too. The scale is stuck, but the inches are moving and I have more energy.
  • You are my hero!!!! I've been banging my head against at brick wall about the scale. You have done an awesome job! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
  • That's crazy, 40 min. is not that long. Lord nows there could be alot of other things going on worse than a little noise for that length of time. You really should talk with the landlord and them to see if a better time is an option, but don't not do it. Who are they to cause this problem for you? Some people are just so…
  • Another "Cookie Cutter" mentality! We are not all the same! I think he is very limited in his thinking and might need to seek a new career. Trash truck driver maybe? How can he in this day and time not think that lifting heavy is a positive step for women? And haven't we discovered that giving up carbs is a personal…
  • How about lowering your carbs and increasing you protein?
  • OH!!! The prone jack knife is killer, but you know it's working!!!!! So sore from that one. Good Luck to you!!!!!
  • You are awesome!!!!!
  • The info I have read in this group is the following: Find you TDEE, -15%, that number is what you eat everyday. Now that may be using a different calculator than the one in your book. I find it is easier to just set MFP to that number, don't eat back your calories cause that is already factored in, and eat the same…
  • I'm new to this too, just 2 weeks in, but when I see the results and read the success stories of the members that have used this philosophy, I'm in! The changes in the bodies are so awesome and they didn't happen over night. I will gladly take it slow if it means this is the last time I have to do this, cause I did it…
  • I upped mine to 1765 2 weeks ago, I had a 2 pound gain at first and then I lost that within a week. I have been losing inches and I'm amazed I can eat so much and stay where I was, on the scale, as I was at 1400. The info given to me about this explains that it may take 4 weeks before I see a real loss, body adjusting, but…
  • Your TDEE has your exercise calories factored in, so just eat the 2100 and continue the workouts you entered when you calculated your TDEE. Even on rest days, I've been told, you need to eat your number of 2100, everyday!!!!
  • Why burden yourself with it in the first place. Both my sons are making a good living in the trade industry, trained by the companies they work for. They make the same amount or more than other family members that have gone to college. I can say for sure not one of those family members with a degree has found a job in…
  • Hey Guys, Tomorrow will be 2 weeks I upped my calories to 1765 per day, that was with a -15% from my TDEE. Should I have -20% as suggested above? I have to say I feel great at the 1765, but haven't lost any weight as of yet.
  • I'm 54 and tomorrow will be 2 weeks at 1765 calories a day, which is my TDEE-15%. I did gain at first, but after the first week lost it back to where I was. I'll weigh in Wed. and see where I am , but there has been some inch loss, my jeans buttoned where before I used a rubber band cause they were so tight. I do feel I…
  • We must be the only two on here that has one. And we're both 54!!!! How about that!!!!
  • Wow!!!! You look great!!!!!
  • Open your food diary. That is a good place to start. Are you eating the wrong foods, too much sodium, not eating enough or to much processed food? All these things can make a difference.
  • I've never watched it, but because of the media I know who they are. From what I have heard, I feel sad that young kids are watching them and picking up their bad habits.
