It probably calculated what you should eat to maintain and not lose weight... I actually just looked it up, and it is to maintain. So if you want to lose, you need to eat far less.

I have that cook book and love it!!! There was a recipe for chicken roll ups that had asparagus and tomato that were really good, and another that was chicken with avocado and pepper sauce that was pretty good as well. Enjoy it!

What you could do is change your "lifestyle" from active to sedentary and see how much that changes your daily goal. That would tell you how much extra MFP is allotting you for standing all day.

It means you can eat a lot more. It means you should eat at least 1004 more calories, but you would still be under your goal for the day by 270

I would suggest adding nuts, beans, more cheese (maybe cottage cheese), or some protein powder to one of your shakes so that you get more protein.

Do it early in the morning to start out. At least where I live, it is like a ghost town until about 7am.

Do you really skip dinner most days? I think you are definitely not eating enough, even someone that sits at a desk all day should still eat at least 1200 calories.

I say add you exercise and it will automatically give you more calories. Eat those, but don't add any extra yourself.
