As other people have said I think you should just eat some of the extra calories gained through exercise not all of them as you would would basically be exercising just to eat more and not burning the body fat .

Depending on when your doing your work out any thing you eat up to an hour after it gets burned quicker as your body is still in calorie burning mode I normally do it after breakfast then have lunch straight after.

I have had them loads in the past for breaky and lunch they do help lose weight if you want to do it quickly for an event or something but you can never live on them as they just don't satisfy you and ive just looked and 1 made up milkshake has 31g of sugar that cant be at all.
