  • yay, down 1 lb today for my official 2wk weight! down total 12 lb from preop. Thanks for the suggestions, yes I'm sure the sodium is higher in the premade soups.

  • Hi, I will be having surgery on may 29th! I've only told a few friends. I work at the hospital I'm having surgery at though, so each time I go for tests or appointments, more people I know find out. Everyone has been supportive so far. I have not told my extended family, and probably won't unless it comes out accidentally.

  • From someone who works in healthcare, just know that we are all very desensitized to gown mishaps. So in a good way, no one will think twice or judge you. However, speak up if you feel uncomfortable, and usually whatever it is will be remedied quickly by the staff.
  • how long after surgery until you could excercise again. I walk,swim, do pilates, and things like trx and planks, kettle bells.
  • i lost my fitbit flex on vacation, but loved it before that. It sync with an iphone app. Just be careful it is fastened securely! I am waiting to get a new one (they cost $99) until I get my surgery date set.
