No pictures as of yet, but you can add me. I am also 5'2", started at 203 and currently at 168. My initial goal is 145...after that I will re evaluate.

Oh well..there is that too! ;)

My husband works long hours and I work from home. We have two young boys. I do the majority of the cooking. Typically our meals are all variants of one meal. I add more veggies to mine and less starching stuff. More starchy stuff from the husband and for the kids typically the same item but with some stuff taken out (i.e.…

5'2", hourglass...large boobs that don't shrink when I lose. I eat anywhere from 1100 to 1200 a day (average throughout week). I have tried higher calories and I just don't lose. I walk 30 min a day plus 30 day shred 2-3 days a week. I lose at different speeds. The last two weeks I lost 4lbs (2 each week), but the month…

I eat a 2 lb lunch and have a 5 lb poop. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. :D

Unfortunately, that is all on you. You are the only one who can inspire yourself. You have to figure out how to get to the mental state of mind you need to be in. Best of luck.

Today...acceptable. Because this is the first time in years that I have stuck with this for the long haul. And its been hard and at moments uberly frustrating, but I am still here.
-
Holy moly! If that happened to me (I've never had ambien), what I ate would be the least of my worries! That is just scary...to not remember doing stuff including driving somewhere...I just can't even imagine.

Again thank you! So many great suggestions. He does want to try the swimming...he has great upper body strength and thinks he could just pull himself through the water with minimal pressure on his legs. He can't stand for long periods of time without the pain intensifying, so the swimming or arm bike may just be what he is…
-
Thank you for the suggestions. I will look into the arm bike.

Walking actually helps mine.

As soon as I am done losing the weight, these puppies are going bye bye. I am so so very tired of them. So then...I will be a smaller size! woohoo!!
-
I've lost 30lbs and have gone from a 42DD to a 40DDD. I never lose a lot in that area. Just typically in the band size.

My lunch today was two pieces of sourdough toast with laughing cow cheese and avocado. It filled me up. I do try to drink a glass of water before I eat though...so maybe that helps? I know I will be fine till dinnertime which is in about two hours. So...it does work for some.

I have had them a couple of times in the last month...love them. I eat just a few and I am satisfied. It hasn't stopped my progress.
-
So sorry for your loss. :( We have lost two in the last two years and yes, the heart hurts for so long.

I bet he is gorgeous! We are on our 2nd male Akita (first one died two years ago at age 16) and they are one of the best breeds ever. We also have a female shepard, also a fantastic breed. They seem to work really well together.
-
That would work if I could transport them. LOL I have a 120lb Akita and a 60lb shepard. My car's backseat wouldn't hold them both. And my husband drives the truck for work. But, like I said, we have a large backyard, and play and run with them daily back there. They love fetch and chase and tug o war. So, I know they are…

Sometimes its not safe to walk your dogs...but I have a large backyard and we play with them daily. So maybe thats ok?
-
I would love to walk my dogs. However, our neighborhood is overrun with dogs that don;t stay in their yards. And they will openly approach you especially if you have a dog. I do not want my dog in a fight, because if another dog approaches me, both of my dogs will jump in front of me to protect me. :/ I would hate another…

5'2" I net 800 - 1200 on any given day. Some days 800, some 1200, others in between. If I net more than 1200, I gain.
-
I zig zag...some days I am 800 and some days 1200...very rarely am I over 1200. I have my calories goals set at 1100 with low carb, high protein, mid fat. Most days I don't hit the "end of the day" button on my meals. I just log what I eat and I know whether or not I have hit my calories for the day. Most of the time it…

Sadly I read through this entire thread. And the only conclusion I have come to is that I would love to fist bump you, because I find you awesome. LOL

Exactly what I was thinking...she might have been...doubtful that he was.

My boys are 9 and 7. I don't talk about calories in front of them, only to my husband. We talk about healthy eating and foods that energize and help them grow tall. Dessert is not a daily thing in our house and more of a treat because of it. Since I do the shopping, they eat what I buy for snacks...like apples or graham…

^^^ This. I am at 1200 as well...maintenance for me is about 1400. This was a lot of trial and error on my part to figure out. I lose 1lb every couple of weeks or so. Sometimes I stall for a month, sometimes I lose 3 lbs a month. And I walk daily. It is what it is. I eat between 1100 and 1200 net daily. I only increase by…

Haha! I just bought some yesterday for my husband and kids. Knowing that I wasn't gonna eat them, my husband asked me if he wanted to know the caloric intake of one...I said "No". LOL He can handle them...me, not so much. :disagree:

In just to say I am so glad that Costco has their watermelons in already and they are delish!

I love Katy Perry's Roar...but when I need to get my rear up and moving and motivated... Robin Thicke -- Blurred Lines. Every single time. But, my dog ate my ipod this week. *sigh* So I have nothing at the moment. *cries*

Everybody is different. You will need to play with the numbers to figure out what works for you. And yup, it can take a long long time. I've been doing this since August...have lost 30lbs...plateaued for a month and a half and in the past would have given up. You have to be diligent. You have to be on track. And you have…
