I do this all the time because I don't feel hungry or full. What I am training myself to do is eat 1 teacup of food and 12ounces of water every 2-3 hours, no exceptions. i like to shop seasonally peaches and berries are my favorite of all the summer/fall fruits. also summer/fall squash zucchini and crooked neck yellows and flying saucer squash are super tasty.

I found that if you make cauliflower and cook it like rice it taste similar to rice. I pour curry all over it and love it. also spaghetti squash is amazing for pasta sauces and zucchini sliced up make really good noodle replacement for lasagna. I also really like curry on okra and eggplant. have fun experimenting.

The food bank will not except home baked goods so dont bake them first and yes always donate to your local food banks. they are happy for all donations and at least the food bank around where i live have farm shares where they get most of there produce is the spring summer. Its a really nice thought and i say do it.

I think it depends on why you want to take them. I know this is unhealthy but I take them when I am traveling long distances and need to be on my A game. Or when I would cover a night shift it gave me the energy to achieve what I normally couldn't.
