  • you need to talk,it sounds like she is depressed or stressed about something. has she always been like this or is it a recent thing, could she be feeling threatened by you taking control of your life and health? it must be hard to live with but there is usually a cause you can work through and if there isn't then maybe it's…

  • i do love a nice salad and i do love salmon but prefer a nice grilled fillet,it is actually what i have planned for my dinner today before work
  • walking is my main exercise, i do work up a sweat as it is usually uphill and when it isn't i try and maintain at least a 3mph speed, it's a good way to start imo
  • water is your friend,i've noticed you don't drink any, it really can help

  • if you had eaten nothing but cake for the last however many weeks i could understand her saying something but for crying out loud it was a treat, we are all allowed treats from time to time
  • i looked into this aswell, i never thought about checking for an app on my phone,i will now though thank you
  • or lust, good old fashioned lust works for me aswell,i imagine the object of my desire seeing me aked right now and not being too happy about it which spurs me on to keep losing weight, shame i'm a married woman and the object of my desire is highly unlikely to see me in the buff ;)
  • i was pregnant and told i would have to have a gtt due to my bmi which may have meant a big no to my planes of a homebirth so i dcided to get healthy and not gain any extra weight if i could help it, sadly i miscarried but that gave me the big push to lose some weight before getting pregnant again, don't think i will get…
  • 12 lbs in 6 weeks is do-able,that's 2 lbs a week, get moving and start logging your calories but be strict with yourself, no cheating otherwise it won't work, good luck
  • hello and welcome,i have never dieted before as i don't believe that what is tradionally known as a diet works long term, as this is about food education and balancing calories in and out it should work for the longterm, i am 7lbs down in the first 5 weeks
  • sorry you are feeling so down xxx how about meringue nests with sweet fruits to cure that sweet craving you are having
  • as you know i log down work as light effort cleaning but not the whole shift,i don't log the whole shift to accoubt for just general dailly movements, maybe log the time spent setting up and tidying away as cleaning as that involves moving some hefty objects around
  • i was born in york,i now live about an hour away by train in huddersfield and go to york as often as i can manage to revisit as it feels like going home. feel free to add me
  • i had some shop bought chocolate sponge yesterday, normally i would have eaten nearly the whole cake, yesterday i managed a tiny slice before the sweetness of it made me feel sick. i can still enjoy chocolate but i can't stomach the same quantities that i did before
  • can you not just put in how much you weigh now and how much you want to lose a week and let it work out the calorie allowance from there, i'm sure that's what i did
  • i'll have them ;) i'm blooming starving today and craving chocolate which isn't good at all, going to have a brew, some toast and get to bed before i eat my own body weight in crap
  • i can't give you any information but i do suffer, not as bad when i remember to use my preventer regularly and actually worse in winter when cold rather than in high hayfever season
  • i have a keira going spare today, she is misbehaving quite spectacularly ;) i'm new to this and so far i have lost a brain, most people could have told you that years ago lol
  • congratulations, i have been wondering the same thing as hubby and i are trying again after a miscarriage, i don't want to pile all that i lose straight back on
  • i don't own a scale either, i use the electronic ones in the town, once a week,i would weigh myself every day if i had one
  • is there any reason why you don't exercise those days, is it time, other commitments, money? maybe you could give yourself a few extra calories on those days buy going up and dopwn stairs a few times or get off the bus a stop earlier etc, just a little thing like that will stop it mattering so much if you go slightly over…

  • i log cleaning because it is a rarity, i hate housework so i tend to do big sessions of it a few times ratrher than little bits each day, i logged my hour of ironing the other day because i danced as i did it, same as when i cleaned the kitchen, instead of just walking from the dishwasher to the cupboard i had a boogie,…
  • that's a good plan, it will work doubly aswell if you do it nice and early so that if it looks like you are going to go over the calories you will have time to fit in some extra exercise to make upo for it ;)
  • i am smiling today because i have discovered that this diet lark actually works, i weighed in at 3lbs less this morning
  • congratulations on the weight loss, you have lost more in one week than i aim to lose in 2, that is some achievement, remember slow and steady wins the race. i told my husband that i had embarked on a new diet and fitness regime, his reply was a sarcastic "well it really shows" i had been doing it for 2 days,he clearly…
