This sounds really interesting! I'm a 2nd year advertising student, and I'll be living in an apt with 3 other girls this year, I just want to stay motivated :)

The diet has been increasingly popular ever since the royal wedding and Kate's mother has said that she lost a lot of weight on it. I decided to give it a try, I'm currently in the Attack phase day 3. I'm planning on being on it for 5 days of just pure protein, and then start the cruise phase where you can incorporate…

You have to find other ways to channel your emotion other than through food. I'm no expert, but I suffer from binge eating disorder and I use food to shut off some other emotion. I'm seeing a therapist who says that a lot of the anger I have towards certain situations I choose to express through food by eating viciously…

It's definitely hard, but what I tell myself is that nothing is as important as taking care of myself first. There is no way I'll study from the moment I wake up till the moment I go to sleep. What i did during my finals week is that I exercised either in the morning or at night as a study break. Even if it's 30 min.…

I can totally relate..I had almost the same experience. I had been doing sooo good, lost 15 lb..then Easter came around, I ate whatever. I tried to bounce back and actually did for 2 days but I had been craving unhealthy things since then, cracked again last night and today. feeling terrible. But i do feel like junk food…

Take some fruit with you, apples and bananas are easy to eat and pack. Maybe a bag of grapes or blueberries. I also like making my own trail mix, make a couple of ziplock bags with some walnuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, dried fruit, dark chocolate chips and have one a day. larabars are great go-to snacks and they…

Try to eat every 2-3 hours. I make sure I switch between proteins and fruits/veggies. I have 3 full meals a day usually around the same time (breakfast at around 9-10) then at 12 I'll have like 1/2 a banana with some almonds or something like that, then at 2ish lunch, then at 4-5 i'll have a protein shake or bar, then…

Ah, didnt we all..or most of us at least..haha. I was doing soooo goood. 40 days w/out binging and I had lost 15 lb. Then Easter comes around and I cracked. Binged and felt horrible afterward. Started back again monday and today. So far so good and I refuse to let the events of Sunday bring me down. Done and over, lesson…

I know exactly how you feel abd where you're coming from. Just yesterday I had the same issue, being around my family for easter and just getting pressured into eating. I ended up cracking and went on an intense binge for the first time in 2 months. Its so frustrating bc you would think the people that care about you would…

You are right. Next time it comes up I will speak up and tell them off, it's ridiculous how society tries to make you feel bad for doing good things for yourself, but oh, you eat unhealthy no one says "hey maybe you should stop and eat vegetables instead" Ridiculous...I guess it's a hot topic today bc of easter and family…

ToneItUp workouts! amazinnng for abs :) also do lots of planks/side planks...they work out your whole core and are just a great body exercise overall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoeE9VTxvHY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZll8zWuu94

Wow that's seriously amazing! Congratulations :)

I would say try to eat some of them back to keep your metabolism going, but there are days when I don't eat my exercise calories at all..I mean if I'm not hungry I don't see the point of eating just to eat, but definitely increase your protein intake if you're exercising a lot so that your body has the right amount of fuel

I agree..it's incredibly hard. I just came back home for the summer and I have to deal with everyone's comments on what I eat..always offering me unhealthy food and when I decline they get worried that there's something wrong, it's like the strangest thing for them to wrap their head around the fact that I just want to be…

Alcohol....success!!! :drinker:

I'm wondering the same thing..especially today I was over 68 g on my sugar...:noway: :noway: :ohwell: very concerned that I did really bad even though it was mostly from fruit

Coconut Carrot Easter Cupcakes made by the ToneItUp team, haven't tried them, but they sound really good Preheat oven to 375 degrees Combine dry ingredients: -1/2 cup whole wheat flour -1/2 cup vanilla protein powder (organic, no chemical added protein powder best) -1/4 cup shredded, no sugar added coconut flakes -1 tbs…

Christmas time because it's just a long month of pure happiness, giving, and family gathering. Then Valentine's Day...idk why I like it so much, I rarely have someone "special" on that day, but I just love the idea of a day about love, not just romantic love but friendship etc....
-
I would want to do this :) I've been wanting to start taking up running slowly and eventually be able to run 30 min straight:smile:

I agree with the other response, you can make pancakes healthier by using whole wheat flour, adding proteing, flax seed, etc etc..but overall they're not what I would consider "weight-loss" food. However, if you enjoyed them that's all that matters, you can indulge every now and then :) just make sure you make healthier…

I used 1 cup raw and 1 cup cooked since I had some lying in my fridge and wanted to get rid of it....i couldn't really tell the difference between tastes, but the good thing about adding fruit is that it takes away the taste of the spinach, so it tastes more fruity than anything

Not if you want to do it the healthy way...8 weeks I would say is a little more possible. Personally, I had similar goals except I wanted to lose more..I was 145 lb and want to go down to 115 lb. Ive been doing MFP for about 2 months and have lost 15 lb..looking to get down to my goal at around beginning june
-
Not at all, they say one cheat day even helps boost your metabolism. I mean don't go overboard, just indulge in something you reallyyy want and usually don't have and enjoy :)
-
being AWARE of what we are putting into our bodies is the most important step, in my opinion, to be able to achieve anything. That's why I've loved MFP because it's really helped me have more consideration of the things I'm eating and I've become more aware of when and how I eat, etc. So congrats for discovering this!
-
Ahhh!! thank youuuu...must go out and get these asappp

I agree that you should work out when your schedule permits. For me, I like making the effort of waking up extra early some days to work out and get it done with, that way I have the whole day to myself to do what needs to get done, I feel good, and I'll make healthier choices since I don't want to sabotage the work I put…
-
Congratulations!! That's wonderful! :)) your hard work has paid off..I'm very close to hitting my halfway mark and I have to say I feel the same way, I just feel GOOD about myself for the progress I'm making. Again, congratulations, keep going!

http://greatday.com/ ^ this website helps me get through each day. remember how good you feel when you lose weight and eat right..and let that be your motivation to keep going. you don't want to regress..you want to progress. it's an every day struggle, but you can and will do this.

You should make your diary public so you can get some useful feedback on what's going on...it could be soo many things
