Cheers guys, 1 cup is around 300ml in the UK. that works.

Its been said above, but there are plenty of articles found on the inter web that show that it doesn't matter what time you eat, when i was doing insanity i was starting it at 11pm/12midnight, and then eating/drinking back the 6-800 calories i burned when i finished, going to bed around 2am. Did me no harm at all.

I use a fit bit and heart rate monitor, MFP sets my calorie goal, (normally around 1700 ish at the start of the day) and its up to me to get up off my but and move if i want more to eat than that . (fit bit adjusts my calorie goal based on how active i am, )Some days I can get as many as 3000-3500 calories to eat. MFP…

try for once a week... in reality, lucky if its every 6, has been a bit better over last month tho. kids of 2 and 4....

I eat them, and some days (2-3 times a week) i have 3000+ calories to eat! I use a fit bit and a HRM, and have lost all my weight this way. I always strive to get as close to 0 as possible.

I eat whatever i want, sure it must equal less that what i am burning, but so long as i am still green ill eat it. if you dig deep enough you will see Mcdonalds in there too. I find this app fantastic, what you need to look at maybe in the first instance is how many calories in a day do you think you are burning. wind it…

Hello there! - This app has proven to be better than any diet i have ever tried. i have been on this longer than any diet plan (63 days i think) I have never felt better and do not fell like i should give up. Portion control the biggest thing, that and the realisation that one extra cake, cookie, or chocolate bar that wont…

Just going to echo what everyone else has said, I have Breakfast, snack, Lunch, Snack, dinner, Snack - sure its easier on a exercise day (i have 6 at the mo thankfully) But, only eat at set times, and within the calorie goal if its out side of those times fill up on water, feeling hungry is a symptom of thirst apparently…

I am but MFP now shows that it includes the calories from FB in it (in the break down) , - i also see the adjustment in FB of the exercise, (checked the numbers before and after) so i am very much confident that there is no "double dipping" (i think its called) I use a heart rate monitor for calorie burn for exercise only,…

Does that not defeat the object of having one tho. i appreciate it will not be exactly 100% but not doing the math was one of the reasons i opted for the gadget in the first place. I have however switched wrists to my non dominant hand, and hope that it would be less sensitive. - I try Zinatara to eat my calories early if…

This is from ask men.com Metabolism Myths - Eating before bed will lead to fat gain The first metabolic myth that many people fall for is that foods eaten before bed will automatically turn to body fat. The truth is that it’s the total calorie intake over the course of the day that determines whether a food will turn to…

Thanks that helps. - I presume that includes if you have a 3000 + calorie day?
-
I use a HRM and add the exercise manually, that way. MFP and FB let you say what time you started and it does indeed overwrite those calories There are quite a few exercises that the FB cant track as efficiently as walking or running.

Bump- My topic got moved

Water water and lots more water. If you fill hungry drink lots of water. Presuming that is that your eating enough calories to sustain a 24 hour day., and not selling yourself short?
-
Your weekly Nett makes sense, - although being grossly under my allotted calories a day is what bothers me, I am led to believe that the simple science of calories eaten - calories burned should be the same to maintain weight, or less depending on desired weight loss. I have been logging daily. Thanks
-
You can do this. Try not to think of it as a weight loss.... Think of it as a re education. Eat what you need, not what you want. count every calorie, and once in a while treat yourself. (extra work outs = treat food) Also, my biggest key is water. whenever i feel like gouging on food, i drink lots of it. As someone has…
