I started running to lose weight. In the last year and a half, I have come to value the time alone. More recently, I have started running races and am now addicted to try to beat my personal best every time.

Dinner out with a friend tonight and will enjoy it without guilt. Will work it off tomorrow running 5k, and chasing kids, doing laundry, grocery shopping, etc.... Sunday will be time with the family, and if the weather is nice, hopefully a trip to the park to play.

I originally chose mine to coincide with the highest part of my "normal" range for my BMI. When I got to that level I thought I had more to lose, so I changed it.

Mine didn't bat an eyelash when I lost 30 lbs. in 2 years. He just asked me if I was feeling okay and if I had any concerns that he should look into.

The people in my office are going to hate me today- I'm bringing mint Girl Guide cookies to our team meeting.

I'm training for my first 10K run this fall. This time last year I could not run for 1 minute, never mind 60+ minutes.

Sometimes, I just have an "off" day of running; not running at a great pace or with as much energy as other runs. I would chalk yours up to the first run after the holiday, and continue your 30 minute runs 3 times a week.

My cheat days are becoming less frequnt, as my body simply cannot properly digest the same foods that it used to. I recently tried to eat poutine and have a coke with catastrophic results. These days, I usually try to have a little "treat" each day, so that I don't throw off my entire week with one day. I tend to do alot…

I've had that voice in my head...I've shut it up by exercising and actually achieveing my goals. Nothing motivates me more these days than seeing that I've pushed past the negativity and am living proof that I can do anything I set my (positive) mind to.

I'll answer: - I am medium build - I am 134 and in size 6/8 pants - goal weight is 130 - I am 38 - I have had 2 kids; one by natural birth and one by c-section.

Me! I've lost 35lbs and many inches. I eat what I want, as long as it fits within my calories for the day.

^^^ this for me. But at the office, I drink more water than when I'm at home (that might be part of the problem).
