My son wakes me up nightly as he doesn't sleep through the night. Also my wife is pregnant that's why we have the cookies. :)

I'm not sure exactly but I do have a terrible sweet tooth. I usually just wake up with a feeling of extreme hunger.

You are pretty much on the right track. We used to go out a lot, get pizza, grab a few beers, desserts, etc. Also, at home we ate like crap a lot of the time too (hence why I'm on this site!). Yes. For one, I had no idea how many calories I was eating. It was a big wake up call. And two, it makes me feel guilty if I go over my calorie goal so it has helped me fight cravings many times.

I usually eat the following... Snack 1 (one of the following): String cheese Banana Hard boiled egg Lunch (one of the following): Chicken, black beans, salsa mixed together Tuna pack, veggies Natural peanut butter, fruit, veggies Salad with veggies, low fat dressing Snack 2: Apple or banana
