Thanks for all the great responses! And all of you are right, of course... I consider myself to be medium build, I mean I can take my thumb and middle finger and wrap them around my wrist and they easily touch. So I dont think Im heavy boned at all. As far as my weight and how I feel, I feel frickin' fantasic compared to…

in all honesty it will take about a yr or two for most of the loose skin around the middle to tighten back up, like anything else in your body it is a living organ and it will change and adapt to outside stimuli. Keep up with your healthy eating and exercise & be patient, it will go away eventually.

I do 3 sets of 2 minute planks with 1 min rest in between daily, my personal best last time I tried was 4 min 17 secs. Look up George Hood on you tube.... world record plank holder @ 3+ hrs

I do a total of 6 planks a day, 3 in the morn & 3 in the evening. I can hold at 2 minutes each with 1 min rest in between... I'll have to time myself again to see how long I can hold it...

I know this is an older post but I just found it now and I have a similar issue. I just lost 42lbs in 6 months and whenever I sit down in my car, on the sofa, in the chair Im in now typing this, I can feel my tailbone. It doesnt hurt, just feels funky.... I imagine it will take longer to "rebuild" my body & build some…

Not sure if this had anything to do with it or not but for over a month I was stuck at 177-176lbs with no weight loss. Only change I made was to eliminate anything that had wheat in it. Then when I weighed myself couple days ago I was surprised to see that I dropped down to 169... Not sure if it was coincidence or the…

It explains what worked for me if you read........what worked for me was to eat sensibly, live a active lifestyle and I was maintaining a healthy weight. When I changed my eating habits & begun driving my car around instead of walking or biking, then that is when my weight gone up......

I dont know how? For example, when I was in high school I was in the 160's, played football & was on the track team. I would have a bowl of cereal, CaptN' crunch or Frosted flakes, and walk to school. For the most part I packed my lunches, PB&J sandwich with a small bag of chips & a soda. Walk home from school and go about…

And if you read his response, he admitted what his problem was.... and I quote ....." Problem was I ate a shedload" ............. There ya go, stop eating a "shedload" and you'll lose the weight....

I think people & society in general are focusing too much emphasis on just the numbers more than reality. We can perfectly survive & function on a low calorie diet. 200 years ago people didnt worry about calories, they got up in the morning and went about their day, they were much more physically active than we are today,…

Imagine the fat on your body being like the water level draining in a swimming pool, as you lose fat the level in the water goes down and the shallow end of the pool gets exposed first before the deep end, right? Well the deep end of the pool is your belly... LOL... give it time and it eventually will disappear. It may…

I average about 1000-1200cal a day and I feel perfectly fine. I find that eating mostly vegetables (a LOT of steamed frozen mixed veggies) keeps me full longer yet they are very low in calories yet Im still getting on average 40-50gr of protein a day as well. anyone of you can add me!

99% vegetarian, anyone of you can add me if you want..

The big difference I've seen by adding friends is you get to build a network of people that share similar goals or interests such as jogging or weight lifting for example without having to deal with the trolling & all the smartass's on the forums....
