Thanks Scolaris! Definitely worth noting your points. I think I know where I'm lacking & I think you just nailed it. I need to work on other areas first & then I might be lucky to reach my main goals.

I don't even want to imagine that.. I just want to lose my weight.. Want to experience what it is like to reach my target weight/size.. So need a lot of push! At the same time, don't want to rush on this in a unhealthy way & end up with more problems.. I really owe this to myself..

Thanks everyone.. I need this reinstatement. I'm losing track suddenly after 2 months! Please add more..

Robininfl - you answered my question! Thanks much. Since I do zumba & walking, I was wondering if yoga can give me my quota of strength training (right, body weight & not the free weights).

My biggest hindrances were (& are till date) my snacking issues & indulging completely on the weekends. Whenever I switched to healthy snacking on the weekdays & indulging in just 2 big meals on the weekends & eating light & healthy the rest of the times on the weekend, I started seeing the results. Consistency was the…

Same here.. whenever I wore the splint, my tummy looked great. When I am off of it, the round belly comes back in a few days. However, the pregnant look is gone & I am thankful for it. I am not going back to splinting again. Now, I am focusing more on cardio & eating healthy for long-term results. I need to add some…

I work out 6 times a week for one hour each.. 2 zumba classes, 2 body weight classes & 2 free weight classes.. On Sundays, if time & weather permits I go for 30 mins moderate-speed walking.. I don't feel guilty about a rest day.. I just pick up the next day & move on..

Congratulations.. you look super amazing.. hard work pays off !!!! Please tell me how you lost the belly.. you look perfect in your after-pic.. didn't you have to do any strength training to tone your abs & did you get rid of lose skin as well.. I am asking these questions because my belly is my problem area and any tips…

I have been there & have literally freaked out on Monday mornings.. You can beat the weekend weight gain by planning a bit ahead.. In my case, I go out for lunch on Saturdays (approx 1200 cal) & prepare heavy lunch at home on Sundays (approx 1000 cal).. both are heavy on carbs & protein.. so what I do, I go moderate on…

Dear, don't hate/hurt yourself.. forgive yourself & move on.. I didn't read through each & every post written here.. My only advice is for you to try & get rid of junk from your pantry after your exams.. rest will fall in place.. on the brighter side, I see your ticker shows that you are around 130 (may be some plus or…

I would suggest you to pick workouts based on your interests. Not all workouts are meant for everyone. These days I only do those workouts that I enjoy such as zumba, yoga, pilates, body sculpting, etc. I have stopped treadmills, cycling, eliptical, etc, coz I never enjoyed them and it took a lot of effort to get myself to…

Don't give up even if it means that you will see the results slowly. If you haven't lost weight yet, then it simply means that your net calories consumed is at maintenance-level & not at the weight-loss-level. So yes, keep going. Eventually you will realize where you may be going wrong. Sometimes it takes a while to wake…

Oh no, you don't want to give up now. Great to hear that you kept it up for 30 days. It takes a few more weeks to begin seeing some results. Sometimes we wrongly assume that we are consuming less or burning more. Track closely to make sure you are on calorie deficit (that's the key).

I'm 5'4 & 147. My goal weight is 135.. If I succeed, then will try for 125.. :)
