I had sleeve surgery 11/4/19-At first it was rocky because I had residuals from the anesthesia (chronic projectile vomiting) as well as not being able to hold anything other than sips of water/broth for more than 90 days. I gradually increased to a normal diet by 5 months. Now I can eat pretty much whatever I like, which…

Good for you! I am not a water drinker either but lately I have been using diet lemonade powder (like Crystal Light) added to my water bottle, and it has helped tremendously.

I like to cut up strawberries or blueberries and make a nest of low-calorie whipped topping. Then I put them in the middle and eat. Yum!

I'm starting over again and anticipate gastric bypass surgery (after my fifth! attempt due to financial constraints). To me, the most important thing is to gain control over my eating so that I do not sabotage myself if the surgery becomes a possibility. I'm starting over again. Back during the late summer I started on MFP and lost about nine pounds but I got discouraged because I was at the start of my goal and looked down the road. Now I'm trying again. My goal is more about establishing the discipline to go the distance and to control my emotional eating, so that if my…
