It seems like the estimate are way over. It gave me 439 cals for 1/2 hr of treadmill. My treadmill gave me 217 for the same workout. The treadmill could be off but that is a huge difference.

Cute pic! I think most of us fall off the wagon now and then. If it was easy this site wouldn't exist. I'm just getting started, yet again. Got 45lbs to go and hope to keep it off this time. When I was in shape and much younger, I would run 18-24 miles a week. This was after a good long weight training session. I found that as I passed the 4 mile mark, it wasn't that I loved or loathed running, I had transcended it. My mind was able to wander any where it wanted. My legs and breathing just went on autopilot.
