Monday will be a month. Only bailed out of Ketosis twice in a month. Typically between 25 and 40 carbs a day. Lost 13 pounds in just under the month. Blood sugar levels have improved a lot. (Type 2). Cravings are minimal. So far so good.

When a man tells you that if he thinks you look fine the way you are and should only lose weight for him, he is screaming insecurity. (happily married 30 years)

Everytime I stop using it for any length of time, my habits revert and my weight goes up. Go figure...So yes, I too love this site.

Do day 6 and 7 fall on Saturday and Sunday? Or is it 5 days regardless?

I am with you...I logged everyday for a year...Lost 55 lbs. Damn near goal. Then stopped logging. I thought I had it all figured out. Gained 25 back fast. Guess what I am doing again? Oh, side bar...I also have about 1800 miles on my road bike this year...I was SURE that I drop pounds doing THAT...Uh no....It's ALL food…

If it has a nutritional label, I use that. If it is generic (like chicken breast), I weigh it and typically use ounces. Things like cereal I measure by volume (like a cup). MFP typically has almost all units of measurement on the drop down.

You need to dilute it...I put 3/4 of an ounce in an 8 oz glass of water...Still somewhat obnoxious.

I've gained 6 pounds in a week...It's possible...You are most likely eating more than you think. Also, my experiences tell me that you can retain water when starting to work out as well. Drink more water, get more accurate on counting calories and don't ever expect working out to trump calories...

This is a perfect response...

I guess so...I hit goal, stopped logging, maintained for a couple months, forgot what got me there and gained 15 of my 50 lost in 2 months...So guess what? Back to NON maintenance for a while and a different approach once I lose the 15lbs I put back on. I think I knew this was going to happen so I got what I expected! I…

There's sugar free ice cream, but it isn't very good...I work in an assisted living center and we carry no added sugar klondikes. We need to remind the diabetics constantly that there is still 7 grams of sugar in those...

I would just get back to a reasonable deficit and stay there for a really long time. I have done some versions of fasting and it never did what I thought it would.
-
Question...how do measure (know), how much your eating? You are more than likely estimating your intake incorrectly. If you were truly in a calorie deficit, you would lose weight. Until I got I food scale I was over eating every day. Also every morsel of food needs to be counted. In reality you can excercise 7 days a week…

A 15 pound weight on a food scale? Are you sure it's a scale to weigh your food and not yourself?

Losing weight is free...

Is your weight the same in map my walk as it is here?

Interesting...because when I use Strava, a bicycle tracking ap, it always is way under MFP for calories burned. I use the lesser number as I am told the MFP calories usually over estimate...however your results are the opposite. I guess I would use MFP in your case.

My tracks is silly low it looks to me...

I didn't see where OP posted anything about stationary bikes. That being said, the other day I did 16.1 miles in 60 minutes flat. Strava had me burning725 calories and MFP hadme around 1100 using 16 to 20 mph. Someone above mentioned the huge difference between 16 and 20 mph on a real bike. So true. I use the lower number…

science is on like 4 new threads of crap...flagging

No...Consider it an added bonus...Too many variables...(my 2 cents)

Basically this...

In "recent times", meaning the past 2 years...I would lose 10 to 15 and stall...In that stall would be frustration and then eventually giving up what got me to 15 down. More recently, now I am on 150 day logging streak, but prior to this, (down 47 currently), I lost 20, and QUIT LOGGING my food. Gained it all and then…

In for the pics...lol

Pop your diary to "open" so folks can see it...May help to see what is going "in". Weigh and account for everything or you will never know your calories in...

(Wheat thins is my main vice but overall, I used to consume 350 carbs a day and paid the price)
-
While it may not be able to be reversed, it can be drastically delayed...I lowered my A1C from 11 to 6.0 via losing pounds and cutting out some carbs...Drastically reduced wheat intake and just about off all my meds. I keep carb intake to about 75 a day with some exceptions, but rarely ever over 120...I was on a death path…

+1 to your last sentence...

Lol the bible...

Cut it out...
