Thank you for your input on this. Believer me, with all of the schools i've seen, i know which are just in it for the money as opposed to the instruction. My last school (TKD) was the complete opposite. Once i saw how the instructor dealt with kids, i immeadiately enrolled my son.........and after a few months of seeing…

That's awesome! I was an Uki in two black belt tests, and it was a great experience. I would definitely do it again.......

I started lifting when i was 12, and the reason was because i didn't want to get picked on once i entered junior high school. I got a weight set for Christmas, and from that point on, i did my homework on lifting routines, and what exercises to do for each muscle. After a while, i made my own routines, and saw results that…

Did upper body today...........felt stronger overall. Increased my bench 20lbs (i can't bench that much, since i have a bum shoulder, and i have just started benching again) and wound up doing dumbell curls with 30's (3x12), when i was doing 25's for reps.

@Arianera how do you like Kempo? The reason why i'm asking, is because when i do decide to choose something later this year, i was contemplating taking Kempo. A guy in my company is a BB, and said that it's a great art to learn, and that it covers alot of areas. I mentioned that i took TKD, but i didn't like how it was…

I used to train in WTF TKD. Did that for about a year and a half..........and my son was training with me as well. We both were blue belts, but had to stop training due to financial reasons. It was a great school, and my instructors were awesome.......but in WTF TKD, the focus is mostly kicking and not enough punching IMO.…

I wish i had something to contribute, but haven't trained in almost two years. This year i WILL be doing some sort of training, since i miss it so much, and the gym gets boring after a while.

Yeah, but i'd let her win anyway. ;)

"Are you training like a marathon runner who happens to lift a couple of times or are you training like a bodybuilder who does some cardio, or is it somewhere in between?" It's somewhere in between.

Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely check out those videos.

How much is too much cardio? When i lift (I do an upper/lower body split M,T, Th, F) i do a 5 minute warmup on the eliptical, and after my session, i do 20 minutes on the dreadmill. If i do an hour cardio session on my day off from lifting, would that deplete muscle growth? I'm looking to lean out ( i know being in a…

Bobby went through hell the past two episodes. That's all i'm going to say in case there are some who are just starting to watch the show, or for those who haven't seen Tuesday's episode yet.

I've been a frequent user of Designer Whey, but wanted to try something different this time, so i bought a tub of Dymatize Elite Whey (rich chocolate flavor), and it tastes alot better than the Designer Whey, and costs the same! Looks like i'll be taking this for a while now.......

That is simply awesome! Congrats!
