You are getting a 16:8 fast. Your start time is 10 am, shown as 10:00. The end time shown, 02:00 is 2 am the next day. These times are using 24 hr (military) clocks.

A Premium, paid subscription is now required to scan bar codes. From other threads, it appears that MFP made this change several months ago.
-
Check to be sure the starting and ending dates are correct. I’ve also found that you cannot specify an end time that is greater than the current time.

There is no way to scan a bar code when adding to MyFoods, even with a Premium paid subscription.
-
Paid subscription is not the solution. There isn’t an option to scan a bar code when adding ingredients to a recipe. Same with adding something to My Foods.

Back doing MFP after recovering from multiple myeloma. Looking for friends who are serious about supporting each other through this journey.

I have also had an Alta for a week and I'm finding it works like a charm, once you get it set up. It took me several attempts to get it to initialize using my laptop running Windows 10. The only way it would work is by using the dongle supplied with the band. (Since then I found a post on the FitBit site saying there seems…

I use whatever the FitBit provides for cals burned and exercise minutes. I don't use MFP to log exercise except when I want to track something specific that the FitBit does not recognize. For example, strength training I log with MFP. I enter total minutes exercised but I override the cal count provided by MFP by setting…

Laura: I don't believe there is a single correct answer to "what are the best exercises". The best for me may not be the best for you. I suggest you do things that you like to do. It can be something as simple as walking. Or it may be something like the dancing and workout DVDs mentioned by others. Whatever it is, if you…

One of my friends, Squidgeypaws007, is really into pole exercises. PM her and I'm sure you'll receive all the encouragement you want or need. --Tom

Have you set realistic goals for yourself? Break them down into small steps and write them down with an estimated date you want to complete them. Use MFP to establish a workable daily calorie intake based on how much exercise you are committed to do (what is termed "Net Calories"). Then choose a diet plan that makes sense…

Never mind. I just noticed that since my post above, wondering why the links did not work, they now do. I can't explain why they failed before I actually replied on this thread. But anyway, they are now working properly. :-D

Thank you for posting this. But I seem to be having a problem trying to access the original source and all the references given in it. What's the deal with all the embedded URLs in the original post? Every one of them ends with an MFP error message saying the link is invalid?

That look.

I just finished Level 1 Day 3 but I'm starting to find excuses not to continue. So, count me in, too.

It's really great that you are doing this again. I think you'll find being outside much more enjoyable, at least that's what I found. And as for wondering what others may think of your efforts -- don't worry about it. You're 47, I'm 68, and I know what it feels like to be passed by a 30 something who's been running since…

Just completed the C25K program this morning. I managed to do it without walking at a 10:30 min/mile pace. I have already registered for two 5K "races", the first on November 9. My goal is to simply finish without dropping into a walk. Many thanks to all my MFP friends for their support and encouragement.

I am just finishing W8D3 and signed up for two runs. The first is on Nov 9 and the second is a Turkey Trot. I made the decision to commit to the races this week because I wanted to be sure I had some motivation to continue on after completing C25K. Paying the non-refundable entrance fees will surely keep me moving! I also…

South Carolina here. And you know the ole saying, "Anything north of Atlanta is Yankee Country!"

My wife and I just finished W2D1. So far, so good. The toughest part is just finally deciding to do it! You'll find lots of support here from folks who, like you, have made that leap of faith.

I installed the ICS link without any problems into my Google calendar. Shows up fine merged into my other calendars. I did notice, though, that Day 1 through Day 4 include the text "COMPLETE". Seems a bit odd since we don't start the program until Sept 1? Thanks for doing this. I'm sure it will make it easier to follow…

Count me in. I'm new to MFP and I've already found it a great place to meet. I've started the C25K program and this 3x30 group is just what I need to add strength exercises to complement the running. --Tom

But how accurate are the reported calories? I used the program for the first time this morning while wearing a heart rate monitor. C25K W1D2. The calories given by RunDouble were way, way below what the HRM showed. Even if I allow for the HRM being way too high it is still more than twice that reported by RD.

Sorry, double posted.

Started C25K program today! Doing this with the wife, so my pace is much slower than it would be if I were solo. But just the same, we're doing it!
