Thanks for the info :) I was looking into a Polar but it is difficult to find one in the stores in my town. Any recommendations for a Polar? I can always purchase online if it works out to be something that works for me.

I have VERY much enjoyed reading the comments. However the pizza oneI just can't argue with!! I appreciate the input everyone. I am going to try cutting it out and bringing it back in to see if the bread was the issue.

This is definitely good advice, Generally when I try one or the other it doesn't work out for me. with a tendency to self sabotage I am pretty good at convincing myself that any kind of motivation isn't working and just quit, do it tomorrow or take a break for a few days that turn into weeks and the vicious cycle…

I log her 3 mile as low impact aerobics and her 5 mile advanced walk as high impact aerobics. I keep up with her pace and use hand weights or resistance belts. I don't have a HRM so I go with what MFP calculates and I just don't eat all of those calories back.

For the 3 Mile DVD I use aerobics- low impact and for the 4 Fast Miles DVD I record it as high impact aerobics. I think the best results would be if you use a HR monitor like Polar (They are pretty pricey I don't have one myself and often wish I did for times when calorie burn isn't easily determined).
