I have rowed many marathons; the trick is to keep it between 20 to 30 strokes per minute, have a towel near by and sip your water every 20 minutes or so. If you have someone to keep the meter running, you can do a quick restroom run too, but I never do. I row alone and at home and have rowed up to 100k a day this way.

Well, I wont have access to a scale anymore after today so after my workout today I weighed myself. down from 236 to 222 while pumped and full of water as well as wearing sweat soaked clothes. SO, I am happy!

Well, when I first started working out again I gained 11 pounds (ex-body-builder so I had muscle memory issues) I told myself I would not step on the scale again until 9/22 but I can wait until 10/1 for sure! =])
