Late to the game and of a similar mindset. My hope is to lose 15LB between Halloween and NYD and move up in weight lifting (I dont want to touch dumbbells ubder 20LB after 1/1). As of 11/6, worked out daily and stayed within calories and carbs. 57 days to go!

I'd love some friends that interact on a regular basis. My diary is open. I'm on keto and workout 6 days a week. Take care. :)

Hi, feel free to send a request. I'm pretty active and post every single day, open diary too.

for me it's the mixers and chasers as well, those can add up when drinking heavily. Also the post drunkenness meals. I don't make good decisions in that state. I tend to try to lower cals during the week when I know I'll be going out.

I'm part of the no thanks club, the shorter the conversation the better.

sometimes I get lazy and don't want to meal prep/go workout.

This. On occasion, I'll have a protein almond milk shake because it feels like a treat. I can't see my forever lifestyle being so liquid.

I usually opt for a cup of tea. For some reason that shuts down the cravings.

Absolutely number 1. Do you log everything?

I agree with the above. I did it and lost 17lbs. Although 30 or 45 days is not enough time to assess accurately, I know grain and sugar are not for me. As for dairy, and soy I can do without (too many questions on hormones). Honestly scared to death to eat a piece of bread.

Stop. Hammer time.

I aim for 100g protein plus and as long as I hit over 1200 calories, I am at 100g-140g. When I consistently get 100g+, the weight falls off of me. This won't be one of those weeks. But I also am starting to think about what my true BMR is and really want to get measured as I understand that women with PCOS cannot use any…

Right?!? Especially starting just above 200.

Excel 101 basically? I have some pretty intricate spreadsheets to not only track weight but to several other measurements (inches, calories, exercise minutes, hr, macros. I'm low key obsessed with them but that's for another post. I'm way more interested in the weight loss betting website, have you used that before this…

Day 4: 60 minutes done, 1,115 minutes go to. Day 5: 80 minutes done Day 6: goose egg - just my walking commute (2 miles) Day 7: 45 minutes done Day 8: 60…

My husband eats greek yogurt five days a week. I opt for a local company that makes the real stuff but if I don't make it to their store I sub for Fage and never buy it in individual containers. The large container at Costco is $4.99 and it is 4 cups.

They shouldn't so write a letter to the appropriate people, get your little $3.33 back, and get over it. People have provided you more than enough solutions. Seriously the whining in this thread = Milton from Office Space.

I use to do one hour of aerobic (cardio, if you will) exercises a day and recently switched it up to 20-30 minutes most days as I don't always have the time to give up an hour plus time for strength training/lifting. I've never read the "at least 1 hour a day" thing, I've read that to maximize glucose burning you need to…

This should make a difference because until you measure you have no idea how many calories you are really eating. Good luck! :)

laughing cow if I need to keep calories low. I prefer guac or mayo.

This right hurr. Do us all a favor, eat more, and report back the results next month.

I'm a night owl as well. I like being in the office early so I choose to workout at night. Tips from my occasional early morning workouts: -Clothes laid out in advance. -Set heater so it's easier to get out of bed in the wee hours. -Set more than one alarm. I use my smart phone and I have it set to Kayne's The New Workout…

In! My goal is 30 this month! Good luck to all!

I wasn't planning on commenting until I noticed your race. (Full discourse, I'm half habesha as well, but my mom gave me more than enough derriere, and for that I am grateful.) You can do some exercises to make it look different/lift it or even some to make your legs and back look better but sorry sweetie, it is often…
