Sounds like when you were exercising you may not have been eating back the calories you burned. You may have boosted your metabolism with the workouts and now it has slowed down again...

I would cook on the days you have off and freeze portion sized meals. Ready for on the go meals ...this will prevent over eating or "tired" eating. Agreed...I was actually thinking this the other day. My fitness pal is about fitness....not weight loss....although sometimes this does go hand in hand....that should not be the end all be all....thank you for your public announcement. I think it may be time to change my signature.

Thanks all. Seems a body bug is in my future. I like to know what calories I burn because calories in/calories out makes sense and works for me. I never want to feel like I am dieting...but that I am living a lifestyle. I like this because i can do this forever. i could never diet forever. So that is why I like to know…

MBR ...metabolic rate....its what my body burns on a daily basis...not including exercise....and yes my HRM say I burn far less calories than this site does...

I have been doing this for months...Its my "conscience". If i don't burn enough calories..I don't get my treats...but now someonne just told me the HRM doesn't work that way.....

I would go with knowing the exact amount. Guessing could leave an error upwards of 100 calories or more.
