I have been training for my first half marathon for about 11 weeks and when I started I could only run about two miles. My long run this Sunday was 13.25 miles. For me the scale is a motivator. More important, though, is to be healthy and look good. I am going to the gym 3-4 times a week and have just started resistance training. Thank you for your input. :-)

Hi Cheripugh1, The only reason I brought up my age is that I have hear metabolism slows down as we age and that I have not weighed 125 for more than 23 years ago. Not that it is a direct correlation with weight loss. I too am 5' 2". Thank you for your reply-I appreciate your input.
