On the subject of logging everything.... It's just got me thinking, (stupid question probably!) I put lemon and lime slices into my glass of water to flavour it, although I don't actually eat the slices should I be tracking them? I'm still getting the juice out of them alhough probably minimal but I've realised that's…

Great advice, totally agree!

Hi I had the same goal when I started on 6th Jan this year (30lbs to lose) I've now lost 3lbs and definitely think the support and advice on this site is keeping me motivated! I'm hoping to be down the other 27lbs for my holiday at the end of June. Good luck with yours!! Ps. I'm in Glasgow :)

Can tell I'm new to this... I posted a reply which was meant for this lol... Great advice though! I've been advised 1200 by MFP - will see how that works out and won't worry myself too much if I go over. I'm 5'4" CW 156lbs, GW 154lbs and exercise 3 times per week (1 strength 1 cardio 1 mixture)

Excellent advice!! I have just started (6th Jan) and am one of the 1200 allocated by MFP... Will see how that works out for me! Don't want to lose at the beginning then get disheartened, would rather sustaniable weight loss so if I go over on the odd day, fine.
-
26, just got back on the MFP bandwagon - would be good for some support :)

I use protein shakes for meal replacement too at breakfast time, I don't have an appetite in the morning so I find that easier plus it contributes to my protein intake for the day as I'm not a big meat eater. I use the PHD Diet Whey brand and enjoy all of their flavours.

5'4" CW 156lbs (highest ever!!) :( GW 126lbs so 30lbs to go and I'm aiming for 24weeks - hopefully it's manageable!

Good luck Beth - I'm not a newbie either but haven't really stuck to it before... Started back up Jan 6th and determined to keep it going like you, to feel healthier etc! I have a holiday in July to look forward to and Wedding and Honeymoon in October so that's my motivation :))

Just turned 26 - joined MFP last year but never stuck to it... Back on it since Monday 6th Jan - doing well so far!! :) In agony today because of Body Pump on Monday though - first class in around a year :O
