I am on week 4. I didn't download any app for it ,just take a sticky with me to know my times. I do it on my treadmill for now too, I know its blasphemy for runners, but for now I need it. Good luck to you!

Before I got my HRM I always averaged what MFP said and what the machine said, but they were usually closer than the two numbers you got.

ATP is one of the molecules your body uses for energy. I'm not a doctor, but it doesn't seem like taking a supplement of what your body naturally makes will help you loose weight. I agree, ask your doctor if you're serious about wanting to know if this helps you loose weight, but as a biochemistry student, doesn't make…

Weigh in: 163.6 Difference: +1 I seem to have hit a pleatue,, I wigh in any where from 163-161 each day for the past week. Weekly goals, I logged in every day and did cardio a few times this past week. Monthly goal, I don't keep track of my water directly, but I have been drinking 2-3 water bottles a day. (I reuse the…

I want to look as hott as my boyfriend seems to think I am. I also have the fantasy of running into an ex and looking better than I ever did with them.

Most of my daily protein (which I usually go over) I get from canned tuna, yogurt, and my breakfast shake.

I'm stuck on rocking out to my soundtrack to "Sucker Punch", a good mid cardio pump up song on there in particular is the mash-up of I want it all and We will rock you. I also really like to work out to metal.

I weighed in at 162.3 this morning. Definitely trying to work in work outs is difficult during college. Being on a budget (time and money wise) is difficult. Some days I don't know when I will get to eat lunch, let a alone what it will be (fast food or something healthy).

I'm going to agree with this. Show this to the new girl. As for his motivation, I really couldn't say, hopefully some males with read this and have something more helpful to add.

Be careful. Drinking can cause binge eating. Also please note that when you drink the alcohol takes priority in metabolism and its converted to sugar, so eat extra sensibly when you're drinking.

Ever since i can remember I've been a size 10.. At my smallest I was a 44" hips that's frame not fat. You jut have to accept that your dresses and skirts will always need altering. Also the gap curvy are the best jeans I've found for the frame I have. And always love yourself for you who are!

In my humble opinion I would suggest some mild weight training to start off.

That a theory and a hypothesis are the same thing. Eating carrots will turn your hair red (I ate so many carrots, didn't turn red until I used hair dye)

Unless you have a gluten intolerance, it's really not a good idea health wise to go gluten free.

I've just recently gotten into it. It's really great to study to and work out to.

I know how hard that can be, my family loves to go out when I visit because they live an hour away from any town and I give them an excuse to go out. Snack on something healthy before you go out if that's part of your routine going home. Also, letting your parents know you are trying to live a healthier life style, and ask…

I'm 5' 6" and when I was 170 I could tell i was no longer healthy and becoming over weight. I have a larger fram so I allow myself some wiggle room with BMI. 170 and 5' does NOT sound Okay to me.

Salad does get old quickly, try choosing a lower calorie dressing (I had a roommate who was eating salads and gained weight because she drowned them with ranch).

Good for you for not having any reason other than yourself to change. It's probably the hardest reason motivation wise, but it's the best reason in my opinion. Good luck on your journey!

I'm a college student as well. I know how hard it is and how it feels. I'm here for you! If you need any help/ideas I'l help you out! Good luck!

Welcome! I know the feeling, every time I go see my family or they come see me it's hard to keep on track. Have you told your husband you're loosing weight? If not, try it, he might surprise you and not push you to go out or encourage you to make healthier choices!

I used to get them frequently when I was doing boot camp. Icing them after a work out helped a bit. My symptoms were disproportionate soreness. When I walked after my workouts it was like I couldn't control my feet anymore, it would just flop down instead of stepping. I asked the trainers at the rec and they suggested…

I have large hips from both sides of the family, I'm looking forward to a size 8, a size 6 would be physically impossible given my bone structure.

Fill yourself up with low calorie foods, I like baby carrots, and give in a little with a small piece of chocolate, a mini snickers or york myself. Hope this helps!

I've noticed that when you start a diet and exercise regimen (having started and failed multiple times myself) the key is to just get through the first two weeks, for me at least. The first two weeks of being good, diet and exercise wise, sets the tone. Once you get past that hump you begin to see results, even if they are…
