Going Home for the Weekend, What am I Going to Eat?

Hi guys, I've been on the site nearly a month now and I love it. I'm a college student and am heading home this coming weekend. Now, I've lost weight and gained it back a few times, and I know going home can be a pitfall. My mom used to be on a diet, but is completely off it now. They always eat late (like 10pm or later) and it's all junk food. But, it doesn't feel like home if I don't join in. Last time I was on a diet, I planned to stay on track all but one meal, and that's exactly what I did. But, when I got back, I fell and never got up. Obviously, this was my decision, but I was confident going in, and weak after being around that kind of food a few days. I just need advice on how to stay strong. Should I stay on track? Maybe eat just a meal or two off? It really worries me, because I'm doing really good right now. But, I was doing really good last time.

EDIT: I forgot to mention there isn't a wifi signal at their house. So I can figure calories on paper, but I won't be able to look stuff up on my iPod.

I know how you feel, I would be like that when I was in college too because when I was living on my own I could control what I ate and then I would go home and there would be temptations everywhere! Just be aware of what you are eating and the calories, log all the food and watch your portion size. You can do it!

Plan, Plan, Plan! Save some of your Calories for the stuff they eat at night. Snacks are ok if you plan them in.
Bring some of the things you like to snack on to your parents house. Good Luck!

I know how hard that can be, my family loves to go out when I visit because they live an hour away from any town and I give them an excuse to go out. Snack on something healthy before you go out if that's part of your routine going home. Also, letting your parents know you are trying to live a healthier life style, and ask them to support you in it.
