I usually eat after my AM workout. Even though I am exhausted working out fasted, I believe that it gives me a better workout and burns more fat that way.

It takes 21 days to develop a habit. 3 weeks is going to be super tough and you will not be able to keep consistent until you get through the 21 days. After that, you will be totally addicted to fitness and start to explore different variations, whether it's weights, crossfit, yoga, etc. Just keep at it and force yourself…

you're going to feel a lot heavier on the pavement than the treadmill. Treadmills have more give and better shock absorbency. If you think you need a "boost" before your run, carry a fanny pack with gummy bears or eat them before your run :)

Moderation for me. I love food and I would eat all day if I have the chance to. With that being said, I eat every hour on the hour in moderation and healthy for the most part. When you put your body into deprivation it starts eating at your muscles and other important fats surrounding your organs just so it can function,…

I suggest no gloves and only use straps when you're getting into heavy deads. Grip work is super important when you're working on deadlifts. I use straps when I get into 130+kg, but that is because previously doing gymnastics and pole vaulting and being a farmer strengthened my grips naturally

Grew up in Japan so I didn't have anything unhealthy until I moved to the US. McDonald's was the most amazing thing on earth and still is when I have a craving for something very unhealthy, and Taco Bell too! (Didn't discover Taco Bell until I was in college)

put invisible blinders up like a race horse. Focus on your own journey and not worry about how the others are doing when you're at the gym

My biggest thing is that I have high expectations for myself due to the fact that I was working 2 jobs as a single mom, and going to the gym 6 days/week. Now that I have a blended family with another child added, I don't have the time or the energy to be going to the gym that much or I'm too exhausted. Thank you for your…
