Nikki: those are also symptoms of hypocalcemia (calcium deficiency). My parathyroids were damaged during surgery, so my body doesn't make any calcium. I have to take supplements to get my calcium. After my total thyroidectomy, there were times when I would be standing up and the entire bottom half of my legs, and feet,…

you've received some pretty good answers :) I've had secondary hypothyroidism and hypocalcemia due to thyroid cancer for 4 years. It took three different endocrinologist's four years to get my level's..well...level. I've heard from hypo friends, who still have their thyroids, that it didn't take them as long to get their…

what an a**hole. it's pathetic he's trying to pass the blame to you. i can't stand it when people can't put on their big kid pants and take responsibility for their own actions. i know it may not seem this way now, but you're truly better off without him. good luck to you and if you ever need an ear, i'm here *bigmungous…

i read this today and tried it..it worked, but not sure if you'd want to do it long term *L* press your tongue into the roof of your mouth, while doing that, press a finger into the middle of your forehead. it will relieve some pressure and cause your boogage to drain a bit. i tried it a few times and it worked. weird but…

thanks guys! i chose monday for my "restart" day because i'm still getting over this sinus crud. i'd love to take a nap, but i'm sure all the mom's know what i mean when i say "no rest for the weary". thanks again :)

before i break down and by OTC meds, i use vicks to keep my nasal passages clear. i just rub a little under my nose, wait about thirty seconds, then blow. i'm battling sinus congestion right now. i broke down and got some Mucinex D. you have to get it from the pharmacy window, but it's worth it. clears you up really well.…

it started with an almost three week battle with dizziness (it was a calcium issue for me) and then i got a sinus infection. i'm just now starting to get over the stupid thing. i've set monday as my "starting over" day. somebody please kick me in the butt. motivation and energy are really low right now. i know i'll feel…

i'm NOT a morning person, so morning has never worked for me. i don't stick with it in the morning. i do mine at 8:30pm for an hour, then go to bed. i take trazadone for insomnia, so not being able to fall asleep isn't an issue for me. that stuff knocks you OUT. i agree that whenever it works best for you to work out,…

my tats are on my ankle and one on my left shoulder blade (hearts with each of my kids' first initials and hubby's first initial is in the middle of the three hearts). when i lost twenty pounds before my last surgery, the ankle one was fine. i didn't have the shoulder one yet, so no idea *L*

i was glad to see a woman finally won! i was rooting for kelly. i loved her to pieces. i think ali was confident in herself and rightfully so. everyone looked great, past and present! too bad about paul :( i hope he has a speedy recovery. and yes, you could tell he still loved kelly. i couldn't stand roger *harf*. i had a…

i did when i was in college. whenever i had to get back into shape for volleyball season i'd start my day with slimfast and nectarines, at lunch i'd have slim fast and some cheese or an apple. then would eat a normal meal. it worked, but looking back on it, i should've only used it for lunch and not breakfast.

very well put on both posts. i'm the mother of an autistic child and two non autistic children. i figure if anyone has a problem with my child at the store, it's just that...THEIR problem. i could give a flip what complete strangers think of me or my parenting skills, i'll never see them again....if i'm lucky

i'm still in shock, but it was in the paper this morning so it must be true *L* with all the struggles the ku team has been through this year (so many family deaths) and through the past four years (for the seniors), it was nice to see them finally win it. people can talk about memphis' missed free throws all they want. if…

suffice to say...if the cooter/hoohah/cooch ain't happy...ain't nobody happy  btw i could never call it a lassie..i'd feel like i have a collie in my pants that saves little boys that are stuck in wells...i'm just sayin.
-
cotton panties make for a happy cooter *nods* if you don't want to spend money on feminine wipes, regular ol' baby wipes work just as well. especially if you get the unscented kind. come to think of it, they're probably better for your cooter than fem wipes since they're just water and soap.

i boil mine and then put them in the oven for about thirty minutes on 350

i warm up on the recumbent bike for 15 minutes, then do 35 minutes on the elliptical on the weight loss setting. i'm going about every other day (although i've missed a few days for various reasons), so my body gets a rest and time to recover. i get worn out very easily because of the thyroid stuff. i feel pretty slothy…
