the billion dollar weight loss industry often promotes fad diets & fitness myth for monetary profit.I am not against the gym but I often feel that many gyms promote the wrong mindset & training.
-
"fad"... an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, especially one that is short-lived; a craze. Odd object training is more functional than gym equipments. These equipments try to make workouts "easier".Compare machines to free weights, odd objects like sandbag ,tyres gets you "dirtier".So I feel ,this is again…

Sure it is, but lifting is what preserves muscle and make you happy with your body once you have lost the weight.Even with a higher fat percentage muscle makes you appear "tight"
-
No,I did not crash diet.I lost 23 kgs by lifting & clean eating. However,my weight loss was rather slow & even at an average weight my belly & thighs looks terrible.Sometimes I feel doomed.

6 packs are unnatural.Bodybuilding is not about health or strength .It is about asthetics, getting down to incrediblelow levels of body fat & using dieuretics.
-
Strength Training while eating at a deficit preserves muscle mass which prevents the metabolism from slowing down.It will make your body look good once you have lost all the weight.

perhaps I haven't explained properly.when one loses tonnes of weight the body becomes jiggly & squishy - maybe the remaining stubborn fat, loose skin etc.So the fat tends to protrude & spread out.Maybe it will become better after going down really low & then bulking.
-
nope....or maybe insignificantly small.I drink 2-3 litres of tea everyday. It has not contributed to my fat loss.Green tea is said to elevate the metabolism but that is probably if you eat in large amounts-pills maybe

There is a vast difference between dieting and nourishing.Bodybuilders strive for asthetics. They do hardcore dieting and deplete their bodies. They may be very lean but they are not prime examples of health.
