I love Zumba and I have been going to a 60-min Zumba class 2 times a week. They are pretty high impact and I burn a lot of calories....I am definitely above my "fat burning zone" which is why I raised the question that I raised.

What brand of HRM do you recommend?? I'm always skeptical and always wonder how accurately HRMs measure calories so I want to be sure to get a "good" one....one that I can trust what it is telling me. Any recommendations?

Thank you for all of the suggestions! I just went in and changed my goal from losing 1 lb per week to 1/2 lb per week and it raised my calorie budget from 1200 to 1400. We'll see if that helps....In the meantime, I will continue to eat snacks that contain protein, drink lots of water, and try chewing a piece of gum! One…

Yes. But like today, for instance, I did not exercise and I logged everything I ate. I am at 1100 calories right now (so I have 100 left for the day) and I am HUNGRY!!!!!

I LOVE Zumba- it's the only workout that I have actually ENJOYED and I tend to burn about 500 calories or so. I have noticed results from using MFP and going to a Zumba class twice a week.

I have entered my exercise calories for the day and the above numbers are what I see right now when I look at my profile. Just trying to figure out if I need to eat more or not? I am feeling a bit hungry...
