  • I had lost 25 lbs thru very hard work (1.5 hour spin classes, working out with a personal trainer etc.) then I gained it all back. Once I went on Synthroid my sister said to me "well...that's good cause now the weight will come off quicker". They don't understand how hard it is - I work my *kitten* off and get a .5 lb loss…

  • I read somewhere that when you lose 3 lbs you then eat until you gain them back. then you lose those 3 again and then gain them back. Eventually your body adapts and it takes longer to gain them back and you are resetting your metabolism. Shoot I wish I could remember where I read it cause it makes sense to me. I eat…
  • I take a iron free multi, zinc, selenium, copper and D3. I take my synthroid at 6 am and wait 1 hour before eating. I take my supplements at noon so it doesn't interfere with my synthroid. I was told to be careful when taking calcium - wait 4 hours before taking it.

  • losing weight is based on 80% diet 10% exercise and 10% genetics
  • What I am doing is every five days I allow myself to eat up to my maintenance calories level. I eat 1500 calories a day when "dieting" and then up to 1750 on my eat up days. That way you have something to look forward to.

  • I was diagnosed 9 months ago and am having difficulty adjusting my meds. I did a thing called Fat Flush which got me started on my way - 7 days diet, 1 day fast, and 3 days sequal. Dr. Oz suggested it to get your hormones in control. I am doing Flat Belly Diet which is 4 - 400 cal meals per day. I am now down 7 lbs in 2…
  • I have been reading lately that adding cinnamon to your water is extremely healthy. I also add some orange or lemon crystals (freeze dried) to my water. Also, if you drink hot water with lemon or herbal tea it counts as part of your water itnake.
