  • "Whenever we see natural flavors added to a product, we try to imagine what it would taste like without them. Added flavors are made in labs and serve to mask the lack of flavor of the other ingredients in the product. Ask yourself this – do you need to add natural flavors to food you prepare at home?" YES! OF COURSE. have…
  • wow! thanks :blushing: I have been running for almost a year now, and pilates once a week since december, minus all the time I spent injured or sick. I've also done spin class and I spent about a month doing r.i.p.p.e.d. classes before that triggered two separate injuries. I haven't done much to focus on abs or anything,…
  • thanks so much everyone!!!! i'm definitely not 7' tall, but i am 5'8.5"! I've always been very dense. I'd love to get my body fat % tested right now.
  • you are not very likely to lose weight by exercise alone. its difficult to burn the amount of calories needed to create such a deficit. also, if you are not tracking calories you probably are eating a lot more than you realize. i ran 3x/week for 7 months, including two half marathons and didn't lose a single pound the…
  • get through the 11 days as undramatically as possible. your siser has likely picked up the NPD from your dad, which means she's feeling threatened by you making positive changes for yourself. nothing you do or say is going to make the situation better until they begin to seek help, and they likely won't. keep your head…
  • thank you so much for this thread. i haven't felt this encouraged and motivated in a long time. in an indirect way, it started with my second pregnancy. it was an extremely difficult pregnancy emotionally, mentally and physically. i ended up on disability for most of the pregnancy getting tests done, and when everything…
  • so, I just want to ask you, would you rather have heart disease when you're 70 or life threatening lower respiratory disease when you're 15? http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs310/en/ the fact of the matter is that we are all going to die. at some point, something will come for us. be it an infectious disease,…
  • Maybe you are, or maybe your food is fortified with the supplements i'm talking about. hmmm, wow. magic. http://www.vegetarianvoice.com/vegetarian-nutrition/7/five-nutrients-vegetarian-diets-lack/ "Many vegetarians lack vitamin B-12 simply because it does not exist naturally in any non-animal forms. Vegetarians should seek…
  • Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the world. So....there's that. Also, if we are not natural predators can you explain to me why vegans have to resort to lab grown supplements to maintain the nutrients their diet lacks from not eating meat or meat products.
  • i suggest going with what will fit your lifestyle. if making an overhaul to paleo is easiest because you have a simple grocery list and don't have to measure things go with it. if you have time to research food and the energy to put the things you learn to use, then go for something more specific. if you want to be able to…

  • fixed the pics for you
  • count your calories. don't restrict anything. try to prelog your day so you know when you need to eat, when you need to wait to eat. drink a lot of water. exercise on a schedule and plan rest days.
  • i have no idea what multivitamins are supposed to do. all i know is that i am experiencing serious exhaustion and the first thing anyone ever asks is if i'm taking vitamins. i've never been all that good at taking them on a regular basis, so while i have a B12 supplement and a vit c that i try to take regularly i don't…
