Yes! @walkingthedogs I always need some reminding.

Love this.

I do some kettleball swings to warm up before doing my main lifts. They get my heart pumping and seem to target the major muscles I'll be using in squats and deads so I love them as a warm up.

For something like that - I look at the serving size and usually next to the serving is the weight. For example, my peanut butter: one serving is 2 tablespoons (32 grams)- that is 190 calories, so I'll usually just weight half a serving (16g). In the database it is probably listed as 2 tablespoons and not as grams but I…

Most of the veggies and fruits in the database provided by MFP (not user input) has option for grams. Meats are usually in ounces. You can tell it is an MFP entry if there is no asterisk (*), if you select "relevant" when searching, the MFP items are usually closer to the top of the list. If it is a food you use often, you…

I recently discovered that using a food scale for canned items with a liquid base (like beans) is a bad idea. After draining the liquid, the serving size in grams is no longer accurate. What I thought was 1 serving was really almost half of the can. So, I need to rethink that one, but I weight everything else.

looks and sounds delicious!

I'll attempt #1, I'm trying to avoid #2 but I may have to  because there is no way #3 is going to happen in my tiny apartment.

What about using the Smith Machine to bench press???
-
The gym is in my office basement so it isn't always staffed. I'm guessing the company feels its safer to only provide machines. I'm probably lucky that they at least provide barbells. I've considered joining a new gym, but you really can't beat the convenience of a workplace gym, plus there are rarely more than 5 people in…

bump?

Exactly what I'm trying to say. A man can walk around topless, why not a woman, neither are doing any harm.
-
Give me one good reason to be topless in public if you are a man?
-
Just a question: if you are throwing weight around rather than focusing on the muscle contraction, could it be the weight isn't heavy enough?
-
I could be wrong, but I believe full range of motion (even if you have to modify by placing your hands higher than ground level like on a bench) would give you better results and engage more muscles, but it may depend on the injury itself, which I know nothing about.

I honestly think rowing is a great workout.

I'll give these a try

That works. It is an interesting site. Thanks for sharing.

oh man! I just plugged in my stats and I got nothing... I'm a weirdo, nobody looks like me

I was actually thinking about this today as I looked at my dinner, because the piece of tilapia on my plate was huge, and the pile of broccoli next to it was also huge. BUT my dinner was only 264 calories, so size isn't everything  OP- I agree with most people here - you just need to give it time. It take a whole lot…

I tried it this weekend. This is what I did: half scoop of Body Fortress Whey Protein Cookies N' Cream (19 grams) scoop of Garden of Life Raw Protein (Vanilla) (23 grams) 1 cup 2% milk half cup of Fage 2% yogurt dash a salt (not sure why) Blended in blender, then I crumbled in 2 oreo cookies and blended a little more.…

How do these zombie threads reappear like this? Anyway, I haven't found the solution yet, but I have noticed that if I push through the first 5 minutes of ouchiness during a walk or light run, they get much better. So DOMS shouldn't stop you from light cardio.

I do this too. Mostly because I measure out my lunch the night before and I'll forget if I don't log it right away. I see no downside to pre-logging. You can always edit it later if you need to.

I bought these and they were really really good: http://www.eatenlightened.com but kind of expensive. That is what got me thinking I could make my own, control what goes in them and save some money. I'll experiment and let you know how it goes...

Love that game!

I've been thinking about reading the book, but not sure if I should read the book then get caught up on the show or read and watch at the same time. Or not read at all because isn't the book like 1,000 pages? Is it really good?

I have this one: http://www.ninjakitchen.com/NinjaMasterPrepProSystem.shtml?tabID=detailsCont It comes with three different "bowls" I've only used the medium size for smoothies. I love it. It blends frozen fruits, celery, kale... all very well. It is pretty good with ice too, but there will sometimes be that one small…

Yes, yes you can. You can photoshop anything... well maybe not you you, but people with skills can. I can. Regardless, women should love themselves and not worry so much about what guys like. Every guy out there has a different opinion on what is sexy so who cares about them. Worry about how you feel about yourself.
