Hi there! I am looking at joining up on Beachbody on Demand. I prefer to do strength training over cardio as I really hate cardio though I do get some in anyway. Can anyone recommend any particular strength training workout that they have tried and found really works for them? I don;t want to sign up unless I know this…

I got a Total Gym Fit back in January and absolutely love it. I have gone down two pant sizes since then and it's a workout that I look forward to doing.

Build a home gym if at all possible. I am working on that myself and absolutely love it. I have a treadmill, resistance bands, TRX cables and a Total Gym. I may add a weight bar at some point but now I get up at 5 am, do my workout and then get ready for work. So much better than having to deal with a public gym, IMO.

Ok, I've tried this and the results were not pretty. I used old fashioned oats, milk and yogurt plus some dried fruit. The oats just had a soggy texture to them. It was not appetizing. How should they be coming out and what could I be doing wrong?

If your pierogies are made with butter and onions, I would pair it with cottage cheese. Actually, I would pair it with a hamburger :smiley: , but if it must be something vegetarian, I would do cottage cheese.

Can you use the other name as a nickname and leave the birth certificate as is? I know a lot of people whose everyday names don't exactly match their given names. That said, you could probably still change it if you really wanted to.

I like the treadmill as I can watch Netlfix and zone out with my shows. I also like to run outside but only if the weather is right. If it's icy or too cold out, forget it.

Go to the front desk and tell them you want to cancel. They will give you a form to fill out. I also use my cast iron on a glass top stove. I only ever cook in cast iron.

I was told by a nurse to cut down on lifting and increase my cardio. At the time, I was lifting with a trainer 3 times a week and cardio 2X. She wanted me to do cardio 4X a week and decrease my lifting. This was a nurse who I was required to speak to for our wellness program at work!

I use plain Greek yogurt. At first, I added a spoonful of mayo, which made a huge difference. After some time, I stopped adding any and really don't notice the difference anymore. Plus, as someone above said, it look better in my logs.

I find series on Netflix or Amazon Prime and watch while on the treadmill. I only allow myself to watch those particular shows on the treadmill so I make sure they are really good ones. I've been known to do two hours at a time if I'm really into the show. My advice is to find something you enjoy doing and it won;t be work.
