Between 22 - 50. Age don't bother me too much. I'm 22.

I spent an huge amount of money on one and it done zilch, was a total waste. If you go to a gym maybe you could try one there (beware of your wobbly bits!) but mostly I found it to be useless and sold it on for a massive loss. But in saying that, a few people tried it out, family members and friends and there was around 4…

I've been on MFP for years (newish account) and I find it's just a few that need to shove there views down peoples throats on right and wrong (I understand it, kind of) which is why I asked directly for peoples experiences and I am sure there is many people on this site who would of used these, maybe still do used these…

As I said, I'm asking for experiences. Do you have anything constructive to add for the question I asked? I am losing weight and can work my love of carbs into a calorie controlled diet with no issues, but if they are safe to use and work fine then I can bump up with some bonus weight loss whilst still eating it with no…

Thanks all, for some reason I can never get soup to come out right! Either to thick, to watery (usually that one) or tasteless. So soup is off my menu. But I'll take a look at the others, thank you! Got lunch to do for just me and LO, dinner for the 3 of us and lunch and dinner for 3 tomorrow too. So 4 different things to…

Oh, I forgot we're a family of 2 adults 1 toddler. I've a ton of carrots to use too. And do alot of home cooking from scratch so plenty of oils, sauces, herbs, baking products and such.

Thanks for the replies everyone, Leudy, cheat meals are an idea. If I can find myself clever enough not to let it ruin the rest of the week! I find when I get overly full/bloated I tend to want to feel like that again the next day. Hmm I wonder, must be worth a shot though, nothing to lose. Maryb, well done to you on…

Anyone with some advice? x

Very true Elizabeth! I have managed to lose 2lb still since I switched the drink, so I guess I can look forward to next weeks weigh in! And thanks Miss! Lol! It has made me laugh in hindsight now, I feel very silly.

Bottle I'm drinking at the moment has 6 calories per 250ml and 0.6g sugar. That's spring water with a hint of orange and passion fruit. The offender was a Volvic bottle of water with 'touch of orange & peach flavour' which had the 51cals and 12g per 250ml. All my drinks so far and have been like the first, so was totally…

I know! I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. Will be checking religiously now! X

You're just gonna be starving every day until dinner time. If you're ok with that and it'll work for you then go for it. Eventually your body will get used too it. Only thing is though, I wouldn't think your body would be getting all the different vitamins and things it needs in a dinner meal every day. Could you not split…

Have you taken a pregnancy test?

The mind may not want to drink, but if the body does, your screwed. Going through withdrawals is such a draining experience, I'm not denying alot of it IS down to willpower, but there are so many mental and physical attractions to an addiction, that some times you don't get the choice to just stop, as you may think. Many…

Brittinham, I do agree with you actually. And thank you idrosphila, I plan to ignore him and his ignorance, there is always someone who is going to be negative though, right? I am proud of myself, but it's like losing my best friend so to speak, and someday I hope we can meet again, but I'm not sure if I'll ever be strong…

Well aren't you just a gigantic ball of ignorance. If you've nothing to reply, why bother?

This, or talc powder so she atleast smells nice when she's killing you.

Would be interested in other peoples experiences too.

Thanks for all the replies! My daily allowance to lose 1lb per week is 1660, so if I cut it down to 1000 then it's around 3000 extra calories on the weekend, so 1500 per day plus the 1660 to still lose 1lb, so 3k a day - easily done if I'm honest!! But perhaps not every week. But, I must say, I didn't join to lose weight,…

You'd have to eat 3500 calories of them to put on a lb. Enjoy your sweets. Or you can do a bit more exercise to put your mind at ease, but you'll be fine!

Have rice in your salad, and jacket potato and veggie mixed with a nice sauce together. Stews/casseroles as a PP said. Cous cous salads, but to be fair, there is nothing saying you have to eat salad or vegetables. Eat what ever you like just try keep it healthy and portion control. Nothing wrong with chicken and chips and…

Well I don't eat sugar due to some health issues currently, so sugar cravings are a here and far and don't effect me too much knowing I can't, so I won't. If that makes sense. I'm 4 months sober and don't drink pure fruit juice. Aspartame I've researched on, I try avoid but occasionally it just happens. Diet coke for…

Ooo, some great ideas here. Thanks! Seems oatmeal is a very popular option for breakfast.

Thanks for the recipe! And the replies! Yeah I'm pretty much finding it quite hard so far but still doable just pushing past the cravings at the moment. Currently, I know I can eat all meats, spices, some oils, nuts and I'll be keeping dairy, I don't usually eat much of it but I've already found myself buying some brie and…

Thanks for all the replies!! I really appreciate it! I will be leaving fruit mostly, I'm not a huge fruit eater anyway but no doubt will still have the odd satsuma and grapes. Thanks so much for that list of vegetables kenzietate, it's quite a list - there is more out there than I expected vegetable wise. :) Thanks also…

Thanks Rosie. I know it's gonna be awful but don't think I quite understand just HOW awful. I've gone through phases of just cutting out pop, or just cutting out biscuits, or just chocolate ect and there all pretty awful alone but, it's got to be done and I know I've got the determination to do it. Thanks for the website…
