I have just started using fitbit a couple a weeks ago and would be interested in adding fitbit friends. Please add me. I will try to add you if I can figure out how. So far - no friends, just me :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/2FLWQY

Homemade chilli made with lean ground beef, no salt added kidney beans, no salt added tomatoes, onion, celery and green pepper. Delicious!

It is true that lots of overweight people have healthy babies, but the more overweight a person is, the riskier the pregnancy has the potential to be. I think you have the right idea. The healthier you are to begin with the easier your pregnancy will be. If you are having trouble with stairs now, imagine what it would be…

I've made this one twice now, and it is delicious! You can add a bit of extra water to lower the calories without losing the flavour. I think I also used a bit less beef than it called for. http://skinnytaste.ziplist.com/souschef?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.skinnytaste.com%2F2012%2F09%2Fbeef-barley-soup.html Beef Barley Soup…

I do agree with eating back your exercise calories, but would caution you that the MFP calories burned are just estimates. I regularly go to a Zumba class and observe people of varying fitness levels working out. The instructor is probably the only one who burns the number of calories per hour that MFP calculates. Some…

Great attitude!

It is tough to estimate, but if it is just a treat once in a while, the impact of miscounting is not too significant. I like to check some of the websites from fast food or food court type Thai, Japanese or Chinese restaurants. A lot of them have nutritional information. It will give you an estimate at least. Good Luck :)

I know it sound simple, but how about toast? Right now I am eating Stone Mill 12 sprouted grain dark rye bread with peanut butter.

This morning was 2 eggs scrambled with red pepper and half a sausage patty (171 calories). My normal weekday breakfast is 1 slice of sprouted grain bread with half a tbsp of peanut butter, followed by greek yogurt and some fruit mid morning (220 calories).

I'm still in my pajama's, and have been ALL day!

Bets wishes to you too. I hope you are able to keep focused while away from the computer. It's amazing how much we learn to rely on technology! TTY in the new year :)

Thanks for sharing, I love to hear about other people's successes. Today I am wearing size 10 jean...although they do seem a bit big for a 10, it has been a very long time since I have even come close to wearing a 10; so I share in your celebration - well done!

I often feel the same way!

1. I can't eat as much as I used to, because I actually recognize what it feels like to be full. 2. My spandex pants keep falling down while I Zumba. 3. I am not satisfied with eating box dinners, and insist on actually preparing wholesome meals. 4. I get upset when I can't exercise 4 times per week.

Chew gum? Fill up a tall glass of water? Maybe go for a quick walk to distract yourself? Remind yourself of your goals :)

At 5'8" I am not what you call short at all, but I have been eating at 1200 cal for the past 2 months. I have lost 16 pounds during that time. I also exercise 3-4 times per week. My diary is open, so you can see what I am eating to stay within my calorie count. It is not perfect by any stretch, but it might give you some…

Nice to meet you. I am about 6 weeks into my journey. I am looking to lose at least 25 pounds, and am about half way there. I am counting everything and have increased my exercise to 3 days per week, mostly cardio. I enjoy playing soccer, and have recently added Zumba to my weekly routine, which I am LOVING! I do not…

I have a set of serving spoons from weight watchers that I use. One is half a cup and the other is one cup. By using them to serve, I can measure without being obvious about it. With meat, sometimes I will weight is before cooking. You could do the same with any serving spoons just by using a measuring cup to figure our…

White bread. I try to stick with only whole grain. Sugary granola bars. I swapped these out for a proper nutritious breakfast.

I posted this question a couple of weeks ago, and got lots of people replying that they or their friends are into the 1000's. Something to shoot for!

Sounds like you will look fantastic, but you are focusing too much on your clothes! Be confident, that will get you the job, not your clothing! Good luck :)
