I usually eat a 150 calorie pack of chips with my sandwich at lunch. You can still eat the cake, but just a small slice, as long as you don't blow your calorie limit. I'm currently eating between 80 and 100 grams of carbs a day, and between 1200-1500 calories a day, and that includes simple AND complex carbs. I'm losing weight. This is just what works for me. Thank you. I actually tried OMAD a few months ago, but I ended up binge eating on junk from 6pm to bedtime, telling myself I will go back to low carb the next day. Whenever one diet fails, I always binge eat that day, and tell myself I'll try something else the next day, and guess what? It fails too, and another endless…

Are you saying you eat one meal a day? If so, what do your meals look like. I'm so tired of bingeing at night on carbs, that I've got to find some way of sticking to my 1200 calories a day without starving to death.

My best strategy is to include eggs with my dinner. For me, they fill me up and keep me from bingeing on donuts, etc., late at night when my cravings hit. In other words, make sure to include some filling foods in your diet.

You are fasting while you're sleeping. That's why we call it breakfast, because you're breaking a fast. Technically, your first meal of the day is breakfast, even if eaten at 9pm. Find what works for you, as long as you don't go over your calorie limit you should do fine.
