I just wondered really, just waned to reduce the chance of a gain, through it being water. When you say drink water not juice, does water with a splash of dilute it count? i can't drink just plain water (well i can but its vile lol)

I'm 5ft 8'', 267lbs and 34 (female) i eat 1710 a day. i usually eat around that on non exercise days (usually 1 or 2 days a week) on exercise days i eat around 1850 to keep my body fuelled. Trying to make healthy choices also.

I'm currently diabetic i take metformin and glimperide as well as blood pressure pills. This is why I'm losing weight and shaping up to be a ''controlled'' diabetic.

I take Metformin daily 4x a day, i take mine for diabetes. As for the side effects do you take the slow release ones? i was taking the normal ones and was really ill, my stomach was aching all day and bad #3's i asked for the slow release ones and have been fine since. I have lost 3 stone on the Metformin with no problems…

Ok so now I'm confused, i'm reading different things about calories. I weigh 267lbs and MFP have given me 2100 calories a day at a 2lb a week loss. Thank you for your reply. I will try and eat at least 2000 a day i aim to drink more water also. i am averaging 6 cups of diluted squash a day. Is 8 cups the recommended daily water intake?

So based on my daily calorie intake of 2140 i should eat 1140? even with my exercise or should i just ignore the exercise and concentrate on 1/2ing the daily intake? Thanks Not ignore it as in not doing it thou lol
