I work in a hospital and clinic laboratory and do drug testing on ALL new hires. I have had to go down to surgery do testing before the surgeon could start the surgery (sadly)

I just go ahead and blow it! Vaca is for no stress, no worries!! No one can do that much damage in a week. Just have loads of fun, stay active and commit to get back on the horse day 1 home!

While I agree it is always good to consult your Dr. about lifestyle changes... A lot can be learned from this site. More than a 20 minute office visit. Sounds like she is interested in healthy living with her weightloss.

I agree Eat More just keep it really healthy. Maybe add some good carbs for energy and fiber to help keep you full longer (ex. whole wheat). If you like beans they are low calorie and very filling. It sounds like when school started back things changed so you need to adjust your eating and exercising with it.

This! Do think you took in an exta 3500 calories over your net calorie goal? Not likely. According to my scales I have gained .8 lbs since Monday but have lost 1 lbs total since last friday. I know... you only want it to move in one direction but that is just not logical. :ohwell:
