  • around 1600-1800.... I've lost 4 kilos and 4% Bodyfat (estimated, because I have never got a dexa scan)... I just wanted to cut to have a leaner physique this summer...
  • I've been bulking since forever lol... Jokes aside, i've been in recomposition mode for 3 years now... I tried to cut this summer but i'm failing because my cheat days undo all of my deficit (i'm petite, so my deficit is really small). I'm going to do a slow bulk on the winter to see if I can bump up my BMR a bit...…
  • Cinnamon roll oatmeal. 294 calories, 42C | 9F | 12P It has: oats (50g) greek yogurt (60g) cinnamon (a pinch) vanilla extract (a pinch) honey (10g) I mix all of that with water and cook it. Then with light cream cheese (20g), a pinch of vanilla extract and cinnamon I make a "frosting" that I swirl into the cooked oatmeal.…

  • While I understand your point of view, some people have valid reasons to avoid artificial sweeteners, I, for example, am intolerant to some of them (like maltitol, xylitol, etc.) if I take them I'll get bloated.

  • Chia seeds are a great source of fiber and healthy fats (omega 3) 1 oz has 11g of fiber.
  • Real stevia is a good natural sweetener. I personally can't stand the taste so I use raw honey. Beware of commercial "stevia" (like truvia) that has like 3% stevia and the rest is chemical stuff.

  • I used to think I hated to exercise until I started doing things at my own pace. I was always trying to do the typical gym class, p90x DVD workout / HIIT routines I found on the internet, things like that, I couldn't keep up and hated it. Then I found a workout program that was low impact, geared for begginers, with…
  • 5'2", 132 lbs and 28" waist.
  • almost 28 here, with 2 fur babies... married 5 years and counting. Feel free to add me :D
  • I drink green tea/coffee before my workouts (with a snack, usually a banana with PB) and water after with my breakfast. I never drink my whey protein (vanilla flavour), I use it to make desserts replacing flour with the protein powder, that way I have protein desserts/snacks that are more filling than the regular stuff.
  • I don't get it either. I'm lactose intolerant and I drink "regular" lactose-free milk. (I know, highly processed stuff but whatever) I don't really like the alternatives to milk.
  • I use youtube videos. (fitness blender channel) My week usually goes: Monday: strength training (total body supersets) Tuesday: cardio (usually low impact) Wednesday: core workouts (usually kickboxing or pilates, depending on how sore I am) Thursday: cardio (low impact if too sore, otherwise I do some HIIT) Friday:…
  • My dad dying because of diabetes. Seeing him losing his life to that horrible disease helped me realize that I needed to start making healthier choices with food.
  • I don't have kids but I'm married and I know your pain. My husband actually uses the TV as a monitor to his computer, so all hell breaks loose if I want to use the TV on his "computer time". My solution was to work out with my laptop. Youtube videos are godsent. Do you have a spare laptop/computer? maybe you should try the…
  • I gained about half of what I lost overeating because of stress. Had a lot going on and only doritos and ben&jerrys could keep me calm. Lucky me it wasn't that much weight, and I have lost it again, but yeah, I'm an emotional eater.
  • OMG You owe me a new keyboard. Hahaha.
  • Don't feel guilty. It happens and the world is not going to end, maybe you will reach your goals a day later than planned, is not a big deal. just acknowledge it, and move on. Eat normal today, don't try and make up for it by eating less or exercising more.
  • Some weeks I cook everything on sundays and pre-log everything, so whenever I feel hungry, I just check up the app and know what to eat. Other weeks I just take 30 mins before my workout (right after my pre-workout snack which is always the same) to plan the day. Whenever I dont plan I just overeat like crazy. I'm one of…
  • Thank you very much all! <3 @Taramaclaren I'll check that thread out, thank you! I think I'm going to up my calories to maintainance for the week. I don't really go hungry with my diet, but just to be safe and relax a little.
  • Thanks! I almost finished now. 1 spoon left and I'll be done. Is not that bad, but the aftertaste kills me.

  • I don't know if is bad for you, nothing is really proven. But what I know is that water is better... so that's what I drink. I still drink sodas once or twice a month if I feel like it.
  • I understand what you are saying, but you can't really illustrate anything because everyone is different. If I tried to do that I would certainly collapse (not die, but I would faint mid-workout for sure).
  • Sweet: Ben & jerry's icecream: chocolate fudge brownie and strawberry cheesecake are my favorite flavours. Salty: Nachos with guacamole and lots of cheese. There's a mexican restaurant near my house that has the best nachos of the world. they make everything with organic ingredients so, at least is a lilttle bit healthier…
  • Not necessarily, if you eat too much fiber then your body can't really adjust to that. Maybe you should watch your fiber intake?
  • Whatever works for you. Personally, I can't exercise on an empty stomach, I get really dizzy to the point where I can actually faint. So, I wake up, have a 100~ cal snack (fruit or some other carb) + coffee, do stuff around the house (a light cleaning, planning the day, etc) for 45 mins, then workout. After my workout I…
  • Did you lost the weight with just diet? or have you worked out as well? because it seems like you only dieted (if I'm wrong then ignore the rest of my post) If you only dieted then you probably lost muscle as well as fat, and that's why you look the same. You need to work out (mainly strenght training) so you can build…
  • i'm at 1510. calculated by IIFYM calculator. I don't eat my exercise calories back. I don't log all the time, because I eat almost the same everyday... but feel free to add me :)
  • Seems like you and I have similar tastebuds. That's the flavour I bought, and your description of it seems very fitting.
