  • Roasted chickpeas. I love peanuts but have no control when eating them so have switched to chickpeas. Roast in the oven with a little oil and whichever seasonings you like.
  • Anyone please feel free to add me. You can do this it will just take time. I started logging propertyl a few months ago and have gone from almost 280lb to around 240lb with a few ups and downs due to my love of sweet things. You can do this, it is just one small change at a time.
  • This month I will log everyday, even the bad ones. I have a bad habit of not logging if I know it is going to be a bad day so really need to break this habit.
  • I like the protein works. I have the banana and strawberry and cream flavorus. You can buy them on amazon and they also do sample sizes whiche helped me figure out which ones I liked.
  • I have to recommend Zombies! Run. It's a smartphone app that is a couch to 5k programe.
  • Definatley log your fruit and veg, every calorie counts. I try to have at least one veg at dinner as this helps to fill me up for the evening and means I am generally not hungry at the end of the day.
  • I tend to stick to the calories given as I am trying to loose weight amd it is working. I do have to adjust the number MFP gives for excersise though.
  • I'm using the Zombies, Run! c25k program and finding it really good. It is not free, but I find that the story motivates me to go and do the next run.
  • I usually have a hungry day the day after my workout. I try to eat more fruit on these days as I find it fills me up more and helps me not eat too much of the bad foods that I crave.
  • Thank you to everyone for the advice. I went for the Polar FT7 in the end and am looking forward to it arriving.
  • I drink diet soda. For me it is a replacement for "normal" soda, and as I don't drink tea or coffee its where all my caffine comes from.

  • I know what you mean about being hungry, somedays I just cannot seem to stop eating! It is also worse if something has upset me, then I just tend to eat rubbish. What works for me is distraction, I make myself do something like reading a really good book or playing Xbox. It doesn't always work but I find it helps.
