Hi Pete, sounds like you're doing it right. Stay strong and committed and you'll get where you want to go !

I had PF and it still hits me every now and then. Pretty painful I know. Not alot my Podiatrist did for me either. It eventually recovered with daily ice soaks. Fill up a tub or whatever you have with ice and water and sit there. It may seem pretty uncomforatable(especially in winter) but in time it will work. Follow up…

Crunching the numbers it seems reasonable but you may have to workout 4-5 times a week. Don't doubt yourself and know you can do anything!

Hey guys can be real jerks and I'm one of them! I hurt someone years ago and even though we both moved on it still bugs me. Sometimes you can't right a wrong even when you try. I'm sure if I ever had the opportunity to speak to her again she wouldn't hate me but it would still hurt. Revenge may seem like a harsh word but…

This is an interesting topic because I know I'm big and when I look at myself in the mirror I see exactly that. A big guy. I get upset with myself for letting it get out of control. That said I have a 21 year old niece who is skinny as a board and she talks about how she's fat. I guess our distorted views of ourselves may…

Wow, that hurts. You opened up the door for that one but they didn't have to step in. Don't let them keep you down.

Hi, you'll make it. I've fallen off the wagon more times than I've been on it I think. You'll get the support you need.
-
If you make it too complicated you set yourself up for dissapointment. Just avoid processed foods, keep the ingredients simple, no chemicals, and avoid the fat and sugar laiden products.
-
You can do this. I'll suport you whenever I can. Stay strong!

I've been at this for 2 weeks and lost 15 pounds in that time. Haven't heard a word from anybody at the office. Something to look forward to. Good job!

Lately as I've become more accountable to myself I start the guilt before I even get to eat. I keep telling myself that even if I ate something bad the satisfaction would only be short term but the guilt would be long term. The stronger the will I have the better I feel.

More likely what HAVEN'T I been called? What really bugs is when somebody calls me "big guy". I would never think of walking up to a woman and saying, "Hey well aren't you a big girl?" What's wrong with people? I was even called a "tall glass of milk". What??

Oh lord! No donuts! I wish there was something you could put on celery to make it taste like one though. I'd be a zillionare!

Note to self.... stock up on bacon!

You're doing great. I'm interested in getting a Fitbit too. I'm looking into it. Long journeys can be fun. Day by day we all get healthier.

I have o admit I push myself harder when anything from The Offspring is on!

Stick to protein in the morning and ditch the bread! It always drags me down it seems. A couple eggs will get you going.

I look for motivation daily on MFP. You are definitely a motivator to anybody struggling. Much needed this Thursday. Thank you.

You have to ignore the negativity. If you listen to everyone who has a negative thought you wouldn't accomplish anything. There is always somebody around the corner willing to pull you down. Walk by them with your head held high. You know what path you are on.

Hi Jill... stay strong we'll help keep each other on track!

You should be happy. You look amazing!

Your weight is a contributing factor only to the point that it is affecting your brain. There is nothing wrong with you. You will gain confidence and with that you won't even be thinking about your weight. Do not be insecure as your partner is fine with who you are. Men do not kick naked women out of their rooms because…

Other than color fluctuations the skin is remarkably adept at flexing. That being said if you get a tattoo of a gold fish on your belly and gain 200 pounds you'll probably think that the gold fish turned into a whale.

You have inspired me and picked me up when I was feeling down. When you become a factor in somebody's success and life you can say without a doubt that you made a difference. I still wake up not wanting to face the day and its 18 hours of waking time but I know I have to. I think about my father who for 45 years worked 6…

When I first joined the gym I tried the elliptical. The motion was awkward for me. I thought it might just be new so I tried and tried then tried again. I found myself hopping off of it and on the treadmill. I'm sure the workout is slightly better but not if you don't stay on it. I can burn just as many calories if not…

There is nothing wrong with you. Calm down and be strong.

Here are a few motivators I use. Knowing the doctor will tell me I'm doing better and my lab numbers and weight are improving. Being able to grown into an old man instead of dying young. Looking at all the people fitter than I am at the gym(all of them.) Knowing that when I wake up sore I had a good day. Yes I do have a…

40+ here and doing my best to get healthy. Spent my 20s and 30s abusing my body and mind but I'm ready to be an adult now. I'm living clean now!

Thanks for the read. Woke up exhausted, scale didn't move, hungry and sore today. It's interesting how one's emotions can change drastically in a 24 hour period.

Hey, welcome. I'm low carb too but prob should be lower. You'll find lots of support here.
