Regarding eating out - that is hard. But you CAN eat out and eat healthy, just head to the grocery store instead. Grab a Chobani or other greek yogurt (high protein), some unsalted almonds or granola bar, a few items of fruit (grapes, apples etc...) and a healthy drink (coconut water, big Smart Water etc.) You can pick up…

bumping - great question!

So I was curious about this too and what I did was enter a few fast food places like "Burger King" or "Jack in the Box" in the search field as if I were adding food and would play with that adding food to check calorie and nutritional content and then just deleted them after I was done jotting down a few healthier options…

To that awesome list of ideas up there, I would add: Go to the public library with your 'lil one just before nap time and check out a work-out DVD or two. Make nap time your workout time and with the variety of DVDs at the library you'll always have a new one to work out to and can keep it interesting!

ooOOOoo. I just started taking Lo Loestrin at the beginning of Feb, and I noticed immediately that I felt bloated (particularly around my mid section!!) which was what prompted me to join MFP and start trying to offset the effects. I'm taking LoLo to manage TOM related migraines so, I don't want to give up the LoLo but I…

Hi There - I had posted a similar question last week and ended up finding out some good info - you can check that thread here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/181809-how-many-calories-do-you-burn-during-1-hour-of-zumba-r But I found some good info here:…

bumping this - I think Zumba is a kick!

Oh, this is a tricky one. You'll see here that I am not one to talk as I just joined last week and have -0- pounds lost. But here's some ideas anyway: Explain to your fiance that giving you chocolate for your body is akin to putting a nail in the tire of your car or sugar in your gas tank. It is NOT what it needs. Make…

Hmm, ok, so do folks track their multi-vitamins in their food diary? I haven't been, but should I be doing this?

Hi again - As I am HRM-curious too, I found this site that rates them: http://www.consumersearch.com/heart-rate-monitors As for what's Lion Dance or a Lion Dance Committee, you'll have to explain that one cause I am stumped, too! Thanks, Jules

Yup - I was stumped by HRM for a while too! Pretty sure now that it is a Heart Rate Monitor. It appears to be all the rage on MFP and quite effective for tracking your calories burned doing just about anything. Hope that helps, Jules

Thank you. You are now MY inspiration!
