I'm in the same situation. Doing this again. Would love some online supportive friends.

Hi, I'm 45, trying to lose 60lbs. I've lost over 100 in the past, but gained about 80 back. I just started at the gym, cardio and heavy lifting. I have always wanted to get into yoga. Add me if you'd like to be friends.

You look pretty fit, 50 lbs seems like a lot to lose
-
Add me...nice to find some ladies that aren't 20something...
-
Feel free to add me...I had lost 100+ lbs a couple of years ago and regained some, working to lose it again...
-
Add me! My current goal is 60lbs!

I fell off the wagon too and have since gone through a painful divorce...but things are looking up! Personally I prefer walking or jogging outdoors...it lifts my spirits...feel free to look at my profile & friend me if you want...

I try a couple of things...I eat anything, just in very small portions..... I try to save it for the end of the day.. I can look forward to it, plus I don't keep wanting more all day...I try to buy single servings, also my mantra is one bite is enough, two is plenty, three is more than enough..really after that, it loses…

You can do it! I am insulin resistant, so I hear you...carbs are hard to cut down on at first, but you quickly adjust and find new foods to love!

I was a little reluctant to open my food diary to friends, because I didn't want to be judged, but I think it keeps me more accountable, and honest, plus everyone is supportive and encouraging

Do you know what usually triggers your binges?
-
Can I make a suggestion? Try to think of it as healthy choices, or healthy eating plan...we have to make the right choices forever if we are going to stay active and be healthy, right? Diet sounds like something you do for a while, like a fad, and then quit...think long-term lifestyle.....not just till Christmas...

I need to lose at least 60... I'm a 44 year old female doing this again, friend me if you want...

I'm 44, how do I sign up?
-
I've only had one person comment so far...it was great!

Good for you taking control of your health and committing to making those hard but necessary life changes!

I've only been at this a week, but I am very motivated! I know it's possible, because I have lost a lot weight in the past, but stopped working at keeping it off. I hope everybody is having a healthy, happy weekend!
