I just started Phase 1 so I can't say anything about Phase 2. Phase 1 is easy because its very straightforward but hard because I miss bread. My doctor also said it helps with belly fat so Im excited about that. But I mainly want to get my insulin under control. My parents are diabetic too so Im with you on being healthier.

Do you feel better following the plan? Im tired of the spikes in energy. One minute I feel like I'm bursting with energy and the next minute I feel like I'm going to faint. Then I eat something to bring my levels back up and then I get super sleepy.

Ive been counting calories and working out and its been helping with weight loss but I feel like crap sometimes. I just completed W7D3! It does get easier and you will be amazed with what your body can do! I never would've thought in a million years that I could run for 25 minutes at my current weight....but I can!

I was a smoker for 13 years and I quit 4 months ago. It's bittersweet. It feels like breaking up with someone you love because you know their no good for you and you would be better off without them but you still miss them and want to be with them...but you can't. Ugh!

Hi! I started the C25K program and I love it. When I started I could barely run 30 seconds and now I'm on week 4 and doing 5 minute runs. I'm 300lbs so I don't think your too heavy to run. Just run at a pace thats comfortable for you. I get the whole embarrassing thing....I used to feel the same way. Now i could care less…

My favorite are the squats because I really feel it in my legs and bum the next day! My least favorite are lunges because my balance sucks and I have to fight not to fall over..lol!

I just finished week 1. I actually started last week but after the first workout I was sore for 4 days. Just the thought of going to the bathroom brought tears to my eyes. Those squats killed my legs. So i took time to recover and restarted it this week. I love it and can't wait to see how I progress.

I just finished week 3 and I'm 100 pounds overweight. Prior to starting the program I was consistently losing weight, since I started C25K my scale has barely moved BUT I've lost tons of inches...hopefully the scale will catch up soon because it is a little discouraging so I understand.
