At kettle bell class this morning, I was able to clean and jerk a 24 kg bell for the first time. I had tried to press the same bell recently, and wasn't able to do it, so this is the first time that weight has went overhead for me EVER!!!

That's awesome! Good for you!

In the last 3 months I've lost a total of 7 9/16 inches. Since the beginning of this journey, I've lost 58 3/4 inches! That's almost 5 feet! (We measure neck, upper arm, wrist, chest, waist, hips, thigh, and calf.)

This sounds heavenly! How can it be that I never thought of this?!?!?!?!
-
I totally do this too! And, I can eat that can of icing in a single day. At least, it isn't a single sitting - that would make me sick - but, over the course of the day? No problem!

Since we are both married, and not to each other, probably not... Not to mention, that would totally make me a cougar. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

I just recently turned 45. If you want to know a bit more about me, here's a success story I posted, although I'm still not at goal. 15 months and 85 pounds lost Feel free to add me!

Here's my NSV for today. I added 20 lbs to my deadlift, for a max of 260 lb, and while it was a little hard, it wasn't that difficult. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOwYTcKt454

I like the end result of having my body continue to shrink - because honestly, I don't enjoy counting calories. It's simply a necessary thing I must do to succeed.

Congrats! My sister told me the same thing, and the last I talked to her, she was down 10 pounds. I still think it's funny that anyone finds me inspiring! I recently had the same NSV. It feels great to make that progress, doesn't it? Today, I managed to get a workout in while at work, despite not really feeling like doing…

Reese's Big Cups!! Is there any other candy?

WTG! You look great!

Although it's been forever since I've done it, I like to eat Pillsbury crescent rolls uncooked or partly cooked. I'll get a package of them, eat a couple of them raw, and then roll the rest of them up, stick them in the oven, and then turn it on. After leaving them in the oven for 8 minutes, they are still doughy, with a…

I don't get angry about doing it, but sometimes I do get tired of doing it. However, it isn't something that anyone is making me do. It's something that I chose to do. I could stop tomorrow, but if I did, I realize that means I most likely wouldn't continue to make progress towards the goals I have set for myself. And,…

Your beautiful!! Congrats on the success so far!

Awesome! WTG!!

Awesome job! I totally get where you are at right now! I am at a similar weight, after losing 85 pounds. I still want to lose another 30, but it has been so very slow going lately that I struggle with maintaining my focus to get to my final goal. You look fabulous and should be uber proud of all you have accomplished so…

Amazing transformation! Great job!

Like everyone else said, I eat when I'm hungry. Typically that means a small breakfast, small lunch, bigger dinner, and then a snack sometime before bed. Whatever works best for you is acceptable!

Two for me to share today: 1 - When my husband and I were dating, he bought me a really nice, long, wool coat. It hasn't fit for 12-13 years. I put it on yesterday, and not only did it fit, I think it actually fit even better than when he gave it to me! 2 - Today, at my session with my trainer, we did measurements again.…

A good trainer will listen to you and ask questions to figure out just what your specific goals are and come up with a program tailored to meeting those goals. They will get a good history from you, to determine if they have the ability to help you reach those goals while taking into account any medical or physical…

I feel as if I am more grounded and my balance is better. Running shoes are great for walking/running, but aren't designed for lifting. Because of all the cushioning they have in them, they can affect your balance and form when performing lifts. I have a pair of Van's that I bought for lifting because they are more flat…

I totally do this too! I just assumed it was due to all the years I spent dancing and playing music when I was younger. To not move with the beat of the music is just not natural to me!

Totally get what you are saying! Tons of saggy skin here, especially in the belly area. I've already told the hubby that once I get to where I want to be, I plan on maintaining for a year to make sure I am going to keep the weight off, and then it's off to the surgeon to have the skin removed! He doesn't have a problem…

For rewards, I've done things such as massages, manis/pedis, new clothes or shoes, a nice dinner out with the husband, or a new haircut. Once I finally get to where I want to be weight-wise, I am planning on getting another tattoo. I set a weight-loss goal every 2 months, to coincide with when I do measurements with my…

Amazing! You look great!

I started out at a similar weight as you, and have lost 86 pounds so far. When I first started out, I was using a TRX suspension trainer, and doing body weight exercises with my trainer. Then we added in some kettle bells, and now I am also doing some more traditional weight lifting. At first, I didn't have my own TRX or…

This made me literally LOL! You go girl!
