my must haves: just a pair of 3 pound weights. doesn't sound like much but there are so much you can do with a pair of weights, that's all I really need. I also have a 6 pound medicine ball that I recently got. I love it, and don't ever want to not have it again.

I used 3 pound weights. take 2 rest days per week. advice- take measurements, rather then the scale. I gained three pounds, but it was obviously muscle.

please don't give up. you owe yourself a healthy lifestyle. if you work out and eat well, you WILL lose weight.... eventually. when your body is ready to, not when your mind is ready to. when I started I GAINED 3 pounds in the first few weeks, muscle I assume. 4 months later, I've lost 20 pounds. DO NOT GIVE UP.

No, I haven't taken measurements or photos, though I know I should. Im just getting discouraged I want to fit back into the clothes I outgrew. I only need to loose one size, but cant seem to do it. I've been doing turbo jam as well and started focusing on strengthening my abs. I just want to be there already!

Its been on my bucket list to run the boston marathon. I think next year is the year to do it. 12 months to train should be more than enough time, yeah? Let's be brave.

I dont think it's necessary, but I personally love the burn. I feel like it tells me I got a good workout, and the best way to make it stop is to work out again. Im sure you can get in shape without working your muscles to fatigue regularly though.

Yes! you know what I mean then, it's so annoying. Im shrinking down all the parts that I liked while keeping this belly. I mean, I havent lost anything from my belly. pants that sag in the but and thighs are still tight at the waist. I just don't know what Im supposed to do. UGH!

also- this time Ive found excersize that I actually enjoy doing. I look forward to it all morning. AND I still eat whatever I want. Im not "on a diet" I eat what I want, but I measure out EVERYTHING. If I'm really craving a candy bar- I'll cut in half. it still satisfies that craving, and doesn't lead me to a food binge…

I do turbo jam almost every day. have been for about 2 weeks now. I absolutely love it. go ahead and add me if you'd like, I'd love to have a friend who does the same workouts I do :)

So far as I know, you can eat all the fruit you want, and never feel guilty about it. covered in chocolate or cream cheese or something- then its dessert, but plain fruit is just plain good for you.

I always log it as 18 minutes of circuit training. I mean- there are 3 sets of 6 minute circuits =18 minutes.

do the 30 day shred first. ripped in 30 is the more advanced- yet very similar version of that. I found ripped in 30 more difficult.

cook it on low the whole time, check it when you get home and if you feel in needs a little more cooking, turn it up for a little while, then eat it.

Ok thanks everybody. I thought my diary was open, but I just changed it. I guess 3 pounds in 2 months isnt too bad, I was just expecting it to come off easier than it has.

Well, I just finished day 30/30. I'm disappointed to say that I only lost 3 pounds, and that was all in week 1, So Im feeling a bit discouraged. How much has everyone else lost? What is a good workout video to do now?
