Does that name date us or what?

Love that - I have been working on that myself - such a hard habit to break!

You are worth so much more than you give yourself credit for. Why do you bother with this site? It has worked for so many people and can work for you too if you let it. Please don't give up. Please take care of yourself. You can do it! Take a few moments to look at success stories of other people that started out where you…

bump - hope we don't all bump - hope someone knows!

Although a doctor might be a good idea to help you get back into things, you might take a look at your running shoes. I was having similar problems a long time ago, and went to a proper running store, where they told me the shoes I was wearing were allowing my foot to turn in, which in turn made my knee joint sore as it…

Smart plan! :)

This is a great site. Thanks for sharing!

Check out the bodyrock.tv website. Free workouts you can do at home with very little equipment. I have been doing them for the last couple of weeks. They are great.

Add me as a friend if you want. It is so great to have people to check in with from time to time!

Splenda kind of freaks me out. It is something our bodies are not used to metabolizing. I used to put it in my coffee until I realized that the terrible headaches I was getting more and more often were triggered by it. I no longer use it on anything, and rarely have headaches anymore. I usually put agave nectar in or on…

I always put on rubber gloves to handle the raw stuff. It's a little easier that way.

You look great! Love the hair!

If you are able to, you might try eating an ounce of nuts somewhere in there. I don't know about the tired, but they really help with the hungry feeling.

I got the flax seet meal - the whole seeds are undigestable from what I have heard. The meal does not look like bugs. I sprinkle it on yogurt with fruit and agave nectar for breakfast, or mix it into a smoothie.

You might check out some of the dvd's Rodney Yee has out. I have one that has about a 40 minute session on meditation - how to get into the proper position and breathing techniques. It was a helpful place to get started.

Try Bodyrock.tv - it is a website with free workouts that do not require much equipment.

I was wondering that myself as I carried my 30+ pound 4 yr old around the zoo today on my back. We forgot the wagon!

Hi there - we have three kids too. Mine are a little older than yours - 4 to 9 yrs. I have found the best time to workout for me is at 5:30 am - wine, the couch and the kids to not often interfere with that time of day. Friend me if you would like.
-
Great job! That kind of traffic would be intimidating. Have a great time a the event after work! You earned it!

We have 3 kids, and have tried never to comment on anything about our outward appearances in a negative light in front of the kids. We try to focus on the internal health benefits of what we do for exercise and diet. It also keeps me from overusing supplements since they are not something I would ever let the kids use. I…

Hi there - I am also 5'2" and have weighed about 110 for a really long time. I am quite a bit older than you, and have had 3 kids and still weigh about 110. I am very fine boned, and this has been a good weight for me. My goals are maintenance as I get older and it becomes harder not to put on weight. I hope you find that…

Check out the bodyrock.tv website. They have really cool workouts for free.

I will hand wash mine with woolite in the sink usually about once a week or every two weeks. I try to rinse it off after every workout too.

Welcome. Please feel free to add me as a friend. Have been looking for motivational friends myself.

I have been adding ground flax meal to yogurt to get some extra fiber. Also, instead of eating things on a bed of rice or pasta, replace it with cooked quinoa or bulgur wheat. Lots of veggies also. Lots less white rice and flour.

For breakfast lately, I have had 6oz plain 0% greek yogurt, 1/2cup fresh blueberries, 1tsp agave nectar and 1tbsp flax seed meal. It is surprisingly tasty and terribly healthy.

I don't know if it's possible for you, but our local rec center has a lot of 5:30AM classes that make it a lot easier to get up for. It helps to have someone else come up with the exercise routine and friends to look forward to. If not, good music helps get me going and planning what I am going to do the night before…

I just found reference on this site to bodyrock.tv. It has a lot of workouts that are about 15 min or less with really high intensity to do in your home. Many of the exercises use your own body weight, so not much equipment is required. I did my first one today, and thought it was really good. The kids might even want to…

I have three little messy housemates - my kids. I don't know about the dishes, but I got each of the kids a bin with their names on it, and when they leave stuff around the house, I just put it in the bin. My kids are expected to empty their bins out and put their stuff away, which might be hard with the roommate. At least…
